    摘要: An ECU executes a program that includes a step of increasing belt squeezing pressure to a value P (ON) greater than a normal value P (OFF) that is set as the belt squeezing pressure when a footbrake switch is off, when the footbrake switch is on and the time elapsed after the footbrake switch was turned on is less than a threshold value T (0); and a step of gradually reducing the belt squeezing pressure to the normal value P (OFF) when the time elapsed after the footbrake switch was turned on is equal to or greater than the threshold value. As a result, a decrease in fuel efficiency of a vehicle in which a continuously variable transmission is mounted, as well as a reduction in the durability of a belt of this continuously variable transmission, can be reduced.

    摘要: A vehicle start control device executes a neutral control and a hill hold control, wherein, in the neutral control, a clutch provided in a power transmission path is brought into a slipping state or a released state to reduce the engine idling load and in the hill hold control, a brake force is generated to hold the vehicle against movement on a hill. A neutral release mode controller is employed to increase a torque transfer capacity of the clutch so that the clutch is engaged more gently when the neutral control is released under the hill hold control than in case of releasing the neutral control when the hill hold control is not executed. This suppresses generation of a shock that would be caused by engagement of the clutch when the neutral control is released under the hill hold control.

    摘要: A data wiring is provided on a glass substrate in an active element substrate. For the data wiring, a first portion, extending in a direction that slopes and forms a fixed angle with respect to the rubbing direction of an oriented film, and a second portion, extending in a direction sloping to the opposite side of the first portion are alternately arranged and formed in a zigzag pattern. Furthermore, a convex insulation film is formed in a zigzag pattern so as to cover the data wiring and a common electrode is formed in a zigzag pattern so as to cover the insulation film. Additionally, the shielding layer is formed in a zigzag pattern on an opposing substrate such that it completely covers the insulation film and does not protrude from the region directly above the common electrode. Because of this, a high-contrast, multi-domain system in-plane switching type liquid crystal display device can be obtained with a high numerical aperture and low black brightness.

The control apparatus includes a controller that determines whether a heating capability requested of the heater apparatus is at least a first predetermined level based on parameter related to a temperature inside the cabin. If it is determined that the heating capability requested of the heater apparatus is at least the first predetermined level, the controller restricts engagement of the lockup clutch.
