摘要: The invention provides a coated Cu alloy and a process for producing the coated Cu alloy having a surface which has a low coefficient of friction and a high resistance to abrasion and is suitable for fabricating connectors, charging-sockets of electric automobiles etc. The coated Cu alloy is produced by coating the surface of a copper alloy with Sn and heat treating the coated Cu alloy at a temperature in the range of 100-450.degree. C. for 0.5-24 hours. The Cu alloy which is coated with Sn consists of 1-41 wt % Zn with the balance being Cu and incidental impurities. By using the coated Cu alloy, the force of insertion, resistance to abrasion and resistance to corrosion of connectors can be significantly improved.

摘要: There is disclosed a connector which can be used with either of crimp-type terminals and press-connecting terminals, thereby enhancing an operation efficiency, and also reducing the cost. The connector includes a housing having an opening formed at one side of rear half portions of terminal receiving chambers, and wires are inserted respectively into the terminal receiving chambers through the opening, and the housing has a cover for covering the opening. The cover is integrally connected by molding to that portion of the housing, disposed forwardly of the opening, through a hinge so that the cover can be turned between a closed and an open position. The cover and the housing are provided with engagement means by which the cover can be retained relative to the housing in a two-stage manner, that is, in a provisionally-retained condition in which the cover is provisionally retained relative to the housing to provisionally retain terminals received respectively in the terminal receiving chambers, and a completely-retained condition in which the cover is completely retained relative to the housing to completely retain the terminals and also to close the opening.

摘要: A waterproof connector housing which directly mounts on a device includes a hood portion for fitting on a mating connector housing, an elastic seal ring provided inside the hood portion for forming a watertight seal between the waterproof connector housing and the mating connector housing, and an O-ring for forming a watertight seal for the device. The O-ring is located at the proximal end of the hood portion which is to face the device. The elastic seal ring and the O-ring are integrally formed with each other through disengagement prevention portions and connecting portions of the elastic seal ring. The disengagement prevention portions extend through the proximal end portion of the hood, and each of the connecting portions interconnect their respective disengagement prevention portions with the O-ring.

摘要: A case having a case body, in which a plurality of terminal accommodating chambers are formed in parallel, and an elastic waterproof portion, which is formed integrally with the case body and which has a plurality of wire insertion holes into which covered wires are inserted in a waterproof state is inserted through an opened portion of a connector housing so that the elastic waterproof portion is fitted to the opened portion in a waterproof state. Therefore, when the covered wires are inserted into the wire insertion holes, the projecting portions of the covered wires simply are required to be adjusted to have a predetermined length. Thus, the necessity of furthermore adjusting the projection portion when the solderless connection is established can be eliminated. Since the elastic waterproof portion is formed integrally with the case body, pressure cannot easily act on the portions in which the solderless terminals and the covered wires are solderless-connected to one another even if the elastic waterproof portion is strongly pressed to the inside of the opened portion. Therefore, the electrically conductive state between the solderless terminals and the covered wires can be maintained.

摘要: A rear holder integral-type connector is constituted by a hollow rectangular housing body made from resin, and rear holders coupled integrally with the upper and lower walls of the housing body through displaceable hinges respectively. The rear holders are bent, at a position displaced from the fore side of the upper wall of the housing body to the rear side slightly, toward the fore side with the displaceable hinges as pivotal axes. The housing body and the rear holders which are disposed back to back, are temporarily fixed by temporary fixation hinges. These temporary fixation hinges are formed integrally with the housing body and the rear holders. Locking side pieces for locking are provided at the both side ends of the rear holders, and locking grooves are provided at a rear end portion of the housing body.

摘要: A distributing board for electrical connection with an instrument having a tab terminal is provided. The distributing board includes a baseplate with recesses and a guide groove, a cover for covering the baseplate, female terminal metal fittings accommodated in the recesses and an electrical wire accommodated in the guide groove to connect the female terminal metal fittings with each other electrically. Each female terminal metal fitting includes a terminal fitting part for fitting the tab terminal and a pressure welding part. Under condition that the electrical wire is accommodated in the guide groove, the baseplate is covered with the cover. Since the female terminal metal fittings can be electrically connected with each other by welding the electrical wires on the individual female terminal metal fittings with pressure, it is possible to cope with changes in circuit easily.
