    摘要: Space-division multiple access is optimally realized while avoiding inter-network interference.Time usage information for transmission sequence units is exchanged among different networks or non-adjacent equipment, and on the basis of this information, a station that initiates a transmission sequence unit disposes the start time of its own transmission sequence unit in a time slot which is not being used by an adjacent network or adjacent equipment. As a result, multiple wireless networks or wireless communication devices are able to utilize a channel by time division even in cases where exclusive placement of frequency channels is difficult, and efficient space-division multiple access can be realized.

    摘要: A communication operation is suitably performed with application of Space Division Multiple Access in which wireless resources on a space axis are shared by a plurality of users.If a frequency width is narrowed to 20 MHz when the communication quality is high, the amount of transmittable data can be about half, and the frame length can be doubled. If the frame length is rather excessively long, switching is performed to a modulation scheme with the greater number of states to shorten the frame length. On the other hand, when the communication quality is low, switching is performed to a modulation scheme with the smaller number of states to lengthen the frame length. When the frame length is still insufficient, switching is performed to a narrow frequency width to lengthen the frame length.

    摘要: An autonomously dispersed type wireless network is suitably formed with communication stations avoiding collision of beacons transmitted one to another. In the event that the range of reach of airwaves change and a receivable state is created and beacons collide, a communication station changes the beacon transmission position of itself in response to receiving a beacon from another station at a timing immediately prior to transmission to its own beacon. Also, in the event that beacon collision is exposed due to emergence of a new communication which can perform reception from two systems out of airwave range of each other, the newly-participating station requests one of the communication stations of which the beacons are colliding to change the beacon transmission timing.

    摘要: In order to allow each of communication stations to execute impartial control of accesses to communication media by setting executable-communication ranges of their own independently of each other in a communication environment based on a CSMA method, the present invention provides a radio communication system in which each communication station is capable of checking the occupation state of communication media and setting such an executable-communication range of its own in accordance with the occupation state of the communication media that the number of communication stations coexisting in the executable-communication range is brought to a value within a predetermined range. For example, a specific communication station sets an executable-communication range of its own in order to limit the number of other communication stations capable of communicating with the specific communication station. In addition, a communication station sets an executable-transmission range suitable for an executable-reception range set by itself in order to reduce the degree of non-uniformity of the access control and to minimize the impact of interferences on other communication stations.

    摘要: A wireless communication system includes a first communication station configured to operate according to a first communication protocol, and a second communication station capable of operating according to both the first communication protocol and a second communication protocol. When the second communication station transmits a packet according to the second communication protocol, at least a first signal field compliant with the first communication protocol and a second signal field compliant with the second communication protocol are attached to a header of the packet, and the first signal field includes a parity bit. When the second communication station receives a packet from another communication station, the second communication station performs a parity check on the first signal field of the packet, and when no parity error is detected, the second communication station further checks whether content of the first signal field is compliant with the first communication protocol.
