摘要： An optical element which can be shared by three wavelengths for BD, DVD, and CD and which is easily manufactured is provided. An objective lens system includes an optical element 1A and a converging lens element 1B. A first surface of the optical element 1A on an incident side is concentrically divided into a region 11 including a rotational symmetry axis, a region 12, and a region 13. On the optical element 1A, a periodic stair-like diffraction structure and a periodic sawtooth-like diffraction structure are provided. A second surface of the optical element 1A is divided into a region 21 including a rotational symmetry axis, a region 22, and a region 23. On the region 21, a sawtooth-like diffraction structure is provided. The converging lens element 1B converges light having passed through the optical element 1A, to form a spot on an information recording surface of an optical disc.

摘要： There is a need for decreasing a variation in times for writing to TFT elements for pixels in a direction along the extension of a gate line in a liquid crystal display apparatus. A display apparatus includes a display panel having multiple gate lines and drain lines arranged in a matrix and a data driver for outputting a display data signal to each drain line. The data driver includes an internal control signal generation circuit generating an internal control signal for setting a timing to output a data signal to a drain line of each block on a block basis by dividing the plurality of drain lines into multiple blocks; and a register circuit for recording a setting for division of the block, a setting for delay direction and width of a timing to output the data signal, and a setting for rising and falling of an internal control signal.

The control unit divides a certain period into a plurality of partial periods, allots each of the plurality of partial periods to any of the plurality of terminal apparatuses and produces a control signal with which to convey an assignment condition to the terminal apparatus. In the case of an aggregated packet where the packets for the plurality of terminals are aggregated, a baseband processing unit and the like transmit the aggregated packet together with the control signal to the plurality of terminal apparatuses. In the case of an aggregated packet where the packets for a single terminal are aggregated, they transmit the aggregated packet to the plurality of terminal apparatuses, without sending the control signal.

A selector selects a packet format based on a monitoring result obtained by the monitoring unit. The selector also selects where to place LTS, based on the characteristics of wireless channel derived by the channel characteristics acquiring unit.

An optical pickup device 1 includes a collimator lens system 23, a beam expander 33, and an objective lens system 34 that includes an S-SIL element 27b. The beam expander 33 includes a lens element 33c that is supported so as to be movable in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis. By moving the lens element 33c in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis, a coma aberration of a spot on a recording layer can be compensated in a state where the interval between a surface of an optical recording medium 28 and the S-SIL element 27b opposed thereto is maintained constant.
