    摘要: An antenna unit equipped with a satellite radio tuner and a tuner-unequipped head unit are connected to each other through a serial bus cable. Equipped in the antenna unit, the satellite radio tuner has a tuner portion, a digital demodulating portion, an interface portion, and a CPU. The interface portion serves as a speech/serial converting portion for converting a digital speech signal into a serial signal. The head unit includes an interface portion for receiving the serial signal sent from the antenna unit through a serial bus cable. The interface portion serves as a serial/speech converting portion for converting the received serial signal into the speech signal.

    摘要: A method for manufacture of an ink jet head comprises the process of forming a head main body by providing a positive resist layer to constitute ink passages for a substrate having ink ejection pressure generating means and then a ceiling member therewith; forming a carbon-contained film for the surface where the ink discharging ports of the head main body are formed; conducting a fluoric plasma treatment given to the carbon-contained film by utilizing a hydrofluoride compound; and removing the positive resist layer. With this method, an F-C coupled water repellent film is formed on the discharging port formation surface of an ink jet recording head evenly with a desirable bonding capability to enhance the reliability of water repellency.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display device having a circuit board and a liquid crystal display cell mounted on the circuit board. The liquid crystal display cell includes substrates each formed of a flexible film. The liquid crystal display cell has an electrode terminal section, and the circuit board has an outer electrode terminal section connected by a connector to the electrode terminal section of the liquid crystal display cell. The connector comprises a film of anisotropic electric conductivity which serves to electrically interconnect the electrode terminal section of the liquid crystal cell and the outer electrode terminal section of the circuit board and also to mechanically secure the liquid crystal display cell to the circuit board.

    摘要: Cracks in an Ta.sub.2 O.sub.5 anti-abrasion layer of a thermal printing head resulting from the crystallization of the Ta.sub.2 O.sub.5 in the layer, are suppressed by the addition of SiO.sub.2 to the layer. The anti-abrasion layer is provided as a uniform mixture of Ta.sub.2 O.sub.5 and SiO.sub.2 throughout the layer by sputtering a target composed of a mixture containing tantalum and silicon ingredients onto an antioxidation layer. The thermal printing head is also subjected to annealing to stabilize the resistivity of the heating elements.
