When the SiO2 layer (20) is thus interposed between the lower electrode (14A) and Si3N4 layer (22), the lower electrode (14A) and Si3N4 layer (22) adhere to each other more firmly than in the case where the Si3N4 layer (22) is directly formed on the lower electrode (14A) as in a conventional capacitor. Namely, since the dielectric layer (16) includes the Si3N4 layer having a higher dielectric constant, the capacitor (10) in accordance with the present invention yields a large capacitance, while the adhesion between the dielectric layer (16) and lower electrode (14A) is improved over the conventional capacitor.

A pyrrolesulfonamide derivative having the following formula (I): wherein the ring P represented by is a pyrrole ring having the following structure: wherein R represents alkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl or aralkyl; the dashed line indicates the presence or absence of a bond; l stands for 0 or 1; A represents alkylene, alkenylene or alkynylene; and Y represents a group in which W represents CH, C═ or N; m stands for 0 or 1 when W is CH or N, or m stands for 1 when W is C═; B represents a specific divalent group; E1 and E2 each independently represents H or lower alkyl; and D represents an aromatic hydrocarbon group or heterocyclic group. A substrate for a liquid jet recording head is provided at least with a supporting member, an exothermic resistive element arranged on the supporting member for generating thermal energy to be utilized for discharging recording liquid, and pairs of wiring electrodes connected to the exothermic resistive element at given intervals. Such a substrate comprises a layer formed with a film produced by the application of a bias ECR plasma CVD method. With the layer thus formed, a desirable configuration of the wiring stepping portions as well as a desirable film quality can be obtained so as to make the surface of the substrate smooth thereby to implement a liquid jet recording head having an excellent durability at a low manufacturing cost when such a substrate is used for the fabrication of the liquid jet recording head.
