    Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for configuring uplink PDU sets and reflective QoS in radio access networks are described. An apparatus is configured to receive, from a network node, a mapping configuration indicating configured mappings between a QoS flow and an UL radio bearer associated with transmission of a PDU set(s), and to switch the QoS flow to map to another UL radio bearer based on a presence of a condition associated with the transmission of a PDU set of the PDU set(s). Another apparatus is configured to receive, from a UE, indications of UE capability associated with mapping a QoS flow with UL radio bearers for transmission of a PDU set(s), and to configure the UE, based on the indication of the UE capability, with a mapping configuration that indicates a configured mapping between the QoS flow and an UL radio bearer associated with transmission of the PDU set(s).

    Abstract: A method for wireless communication by a first wireless communication device includes receiving, from a second wireless communication device, a latency report indicating a first latency value associated with a first uplink packet of a first set of uplink packets associated with a medium access control (MAC) transport block (TB), a second latency value associated with a second uplink packet of the first set of uplink packets, and a number of uplink packets lost in the first set of uplink packets. The method also includes adjusting a configuration of a second set of uplink packets in accordance with receiving the latency report. The method further includes transmitting the second set of uplink packets in accordance with adjusting the configuration.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) determine that at least one packet of a set of packets for a downlink message is unsuccessfully received at a radio link control (RLC) layer of the UE due to a specific situation of a set of specific situations and may transmit the NACK message based on the missing packet (s) on an as needed basis rather than waiting for a timer to expire (e.g., a fast NACK mechanism). In some examples, the specific situations may include the UE missing packets after a measurement gap, missing packets based on wake up latencies for a discontinuous reception mode of the UE, missing packets due to interference from reference signals transmitted by neighboring cells, missing packets due to the UE not decoding retransmissions that have a same redundancy version (RV) of a downlink message, or a combination thereof.
