摘要: Aspects of the disclosure relate to communication via a dual subscriber identification module (SIM) dual standby (DSDS) user equipment (UE) are disclosed. In an aspect, the DSDS UE may establish a first connection with a base station through a communication link via a first subscription using a frequency resource, and may establishing a second connection with the base station through the communication link via a second subscription using the frequency resource. The DSDS UE may further perform communication with the base station via at least one of the first subscription or the second subscription through the communication link using the frequency resource.

In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive a first connected mode discontinuous reception (CDRX) configuration from a first cell associated with a first radio access technology (RAT), the first CDRX configuration includes a first indication of a first on occasion. The UE may receive a second CDRX configuration from a second cell associated with a second RAT, the second CDRX configuration includes a second indication of a second on occasion. The UE may determine that the first on occasion and the second on occasion are separated by a threshold. The UE may transmit, based at least in part on the determination that the first on occasion and the second on occasion are separated by the threshold, a CDRX reconfiguration request message.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) determine that at least one packet of a set of packets for a downlink message is unsuccessfully received at a radio link control (RLC) layer of the UE due to a specific situation of a set of specific situations and may transmit the NACK message based on the missing packet (s) on an as needed basis rather than waiting for a timer to expire (e.g., a fast NACK mechanism). In some examples, the specific situations may include the UE missing packets after a measurement gap, missing packets based on wake up latencies for a discontinuous reception mode of the UE, missing packets due to interference from reference signals transmitted by neighboring cells, missing packets due to the UE not decoding retransmissions that have a same redundancy version (RV) of a downlink message, or a combination thereof.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured with two subscriptions. The first subscription may support dual connectivity with one or more cell groups, such as a master cell group (MCG) and a secondary cell group (SCG), while a second subscription may not support dual connectivity. Each subscription may support communications with one or more radio access technologies (RAT). The UE may use the protocol stack for a RAT in the first subscription to receive idle-mode signaling, such as one or more paging messages, from the second subscription using the same RAT.

摘要: Aspects are provided allowing a MSIM UE to transmit a controlled pattern of fake HARQ-ACK and a controlled RLC status report in response to un-decoded data transmissions from a base station, while suspending SRS antenna switching during performance of an activity in a different network subscription, in order to relieve MCS penalties in response to such suspension while minimizing RLC holes. The UE sends a plurality of SRSs to a base station in a first network using a first SIM of the UE, where each of the SRSs is sent using a different antenna. The UE suspends SRS transmission from the different antennas while performing an activity in a second network using a second SIM of the UE. The UE sends a HARQ-ACK to the base station while the SRS transmission is suspended in response to at least one of a plurality of un-decoded data transmissions from the base station.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that a first subscription of the UE and a second subscription of the UE are associated with a same cell and are being used for a same radio access technology (RAT). The UE may activate a proxy subscription mode for the first subscription based at least in part on the determination that the first subscription of the UE and the second subscription of the UE are associated with the same cell and are being used for the same RAT, wherein the proxy subscription mode enables the UE to use the first subscription to perform one or more idle mode operations for the second subscription while the second subscription is in an idle mode.
