    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may provide information identifying a band combination capability for carrier aggregation during a handover of the UE, wherein the band combination capability identifies a plurality of bands or carriers; and perform the handover based at least in part on the information identifying the band combination capability, wherein at least one first band or carrier, of the plurality of bands or carriers, is used for a source base station of the handover and at least one second band or carrier, of the plurality of bands or carriers, is used for a target base station of the handover.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of an uplink transmission configuration for the UE associated with an active carrier aggregation (CA) of at least two carriers in a plurality of carriers, wherein carrier switching among the plurality of carriers is enabled for the active carrier aggregation according to a carrier switching pattern. The UE may select, based at least in part on a pattern of uplink control channel occasions associated with the carrier switching pattern, an uplink control channel occasion on a carrier of the plurality of carriers, wherein the pattern of uplink control channel occasions defines at least one uplink control channel occasion on at least one carrier of the plurality of carriers for each uplink symbol associated with the active CA. The UE may perform an uplink control transmission on the uplink control channel occasion.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may establish a communication session with a network via a non-terrestrial network (NTN) entity. The UE may receive control signaling identifying one or more measurement trigger criteria for measurements of NTN cells. The UE may receive a reference signal from one or more of the NTN cells. The UE may transmit a message that indicates a measurement of the reference signal associated with at least one of the NTN cells. The UE may perform the measurement of the reference signal in response to one or both of a change in received power associated with the NTN entity satisfying a signal power threshold or at least one of the measurement trigger criteria being satisfied. The described techniques may enable the UE to perform NTN cell measurements with greater efficiency and reduced power consumption, among other benefits.
