    摘要: A universal mail application maintains login with a plurality of email applications for a particular subscriber, presenting Inbox, Outbox, etc., for an email account as desired, without requiring repeated logouts/logins. The email applications may be defined and identified by email account information files maintained separately for each subscriber, containing, e.g., POP, server and IP address. Sets of email application files corresponding to the multiple email account files contain downloaded and uploaded message files from the respective email application programs. The multiple email account compilation module may be restricted or throttled back to send/receive email from the relevant email application programs only during desirable times, either on a system wide basis or on a per-subscriber (e.g., class of service) basis. The subscriber may peruse the relevant email application files, who is prompted on their mobile display for selection of any one of the email accounts at any one time.

    摘要: A fluid valve transmission having an automatic by-pass in neutral on the pump side and automatic brake or by-pass on the driven motor side while in the neutral position. Through holes and channels in the rotor are designed with close openings to open and close smoothly as the valve is turned, one opening as the other closes. All channels in the rotor are full of fluid at all times. The valve positions are designed with neutral midway between forward and reverse. This allows for quick start and stop and forward or reverse changes. Pressure equalization lines in the valve body from the pump and motor lines enter a circumferential channel on the rotor valve. This prevents the rotor from binding in high pressure applications.

    摘要: A surgical stapling instrument for performing a circular anastomosis stapling operation is provided. The surgical instrument includes a stapling head assembly mounted by a curved shaft to an actuator handle assembly and incorporates an improved actuator mechanism for transmitting the required operating forces and movements from the actuator handle assembly through the curved shaft to an anvil and staple driver of the stapling head assembly. The stapling head assembly includes a longitudinally movable trocar detachably secured by one or more retainer clips on a hollow shaft of the anvil. When the trocar is retracted, the anvil shaft slides into a central support tube which aligns the anvil axially and circumferentially with a staple holder on the stapling head assembly. The retainer clips are locked against the trocar by the support tube and transmit tension from the trocar to the anvil with no tension load on the anvil shaft. The actuator mechanism permits adjustment of the anvil gap to produce a desired staple height and precludes actuation of the staple head assembly if the anvil gap is set outside of a predetermined range. Also, the actuator mechanism is adapted to both advance and retract the staple driver relative to the staple holder in the stapling head assembly. Further, an improved arrangement for attaching the support shaft to the stapling head assembly and to the actuator handle assembly is provided.

    摘要: A breathing apparatus is described for supplying pulses of a breathable gas to a patient; the apparatus comprises a gas inlet (10) connectable to a source of breathable gas, an outlet (37) connectable to provide gas to the patient, a gas flow passage (14,15,34,36) extending between the inlet and the outlet, a main valve (16) located in the gas flow passage for interrupting the flow of gas to the outlet, a throttle (38) in the flow passage downstream of the main valve, a gas reservoir (42) and a valved duct (40,44) connected to supply gas to the reservoir from the part of the flow passage between the main valve and the throttle; the main valve includes a piston (24) that is slidable within a cylinder (22) to open and close the gas flow passage, which piston is biassed in one direction by a resilient member (28) and biassed in the other direction by the gas pressure within the reservoir. When the main valve is open and gas flows from the source to the patient, gas leaks into the reservoir along valved duct (40,44), thereby increasing the pressure in the reservoir (42); this continues until the pressure in the reservoir is sufficient to overcome the spring (28) when the piston moves to close off the gas flow passage. Gas can leak via the valved duct (40, 44) into the flow passage until the pressure in the reservoir falls to a level that allows the spring to move the piston to re-open the flow passage.
