    摘要: A program preparation apparatus that can reduce power consumption and that can suppress malfunctions and the occurrence of noise by improving software is provided. An assembler prepares a relative object program based on an assembly source program. Next, the assembler changes the order of instructions included in the assembly source program in a range that does not influence the operational results in a CPU and, thereby, prepares another assembly source program so as to prepare a relative object program based on this assembly source program. Next, the assembler finds the respective maximum Hamming distance values between respective instructions for a plurality of relative object programs so that the program of which the maximum Hamming distance value is the lowest is determined as a formal relative object program.

    摘要: An improved plug connector including a housing and a housing cover engaged to each other in a length direction i.e. axial direction of the plug. Since the engaging portion is not provided in the width direction of the plug, the dimension in the width direction of the plug connector can be reduced. The improved plug collector may include a plurality of grooves for fitting terminals formed in the axial direction of the housing, the terminals being covered by portion of the housing cover such that the plurality of grooves are closed at each end. As such, the resin used to overmold the housing/housing cover is prevented from flowing to the front end of the plug connector by way of the grooves. The improved plug connector may also include a shield case having a clamp portion that is made eccentric from the axis core of the shield case. Since the clamp portion is not provided in the axial direction of the shield case, the clamp portion does not prevent and/or hinder the housing from being easily inserted into the shield case. As such, the integration of the housing with the shield case is simplified.

    摘要: A traffic flow monitor apparatus which can monitor a traffic flow at high precision over a wide range from the position near a TV camera to the distant position regardless of traffic conditions. An image analysis area crossing a road of an overlooked road image received every predetermined cycle is analyzed, the characteristic portion of the front (rear) portion of the vehicle is registered as a template, the vehicle is tracked by a pattern-matching process while updating the template, and the size of the template is reduced (enlarge) depending on a change in apparent width of a lane during template updating. Since the characteristic portion of the front (rear) portion of the vehicle is registered, and the vehicle is tracked by the pattern-matching process, no reference image of a road portion on which no vehicle exists is required, and influence of approaching or overlapping of another vehicle can be reduced. A traffic flow can be monitored at high precision regardless of deserted traffic or crowded traffic. Since the size is reduced (enlarged) during template updating, a vehicle can be stably tracked by using a template having an appropriate size in the range from the near position to the distant position.

    摘要: In an engine idle speed control system associated with an air conditioner provided with an evaporator for evaporating a refrigerant compressed by a compressor actuated or deactuated by an engine near an evaporator freeze limit temperature, the engine idle speed is increased under consideration of thermal load applied to the compressor whenever the compressor is being actuated. The compressor 21 is deactuated when the temperature of air having passed through the evaporator 22 drops below a predetermined value, and actuated when the same temperature rises beyond another higher predetermined value. Whenever the compressor 21 has been deactuated, the time interval between the deactuation and the actuation of the compressor is measured. If the measured time interval is relatively short, since this indicates a relatively high thermal load applied to the compressor, the engine idle speed is increased. However, if the measured time interval is relatively long, since this indicates a relatively low thermal load, the engine idle speed is not increased, thus improving the fuel consumption rate and the compressor durability without frequently actuating and deactuating the compressor.
