摘要: A traffic flow monitor apparatus which can monitor a traffic flow at high precision over a wide range from the position near a TV camera to the distant position regardless of traffic conditions. An image analysis area crossing a road of an overlooked road image received every predetermined cycle is analyzed, the characteristic portion of the front (rear) portion of the vehicle is registered as a template, the vehicle is tracked by a pattern-matching process while updating the template, and the size of the template is reduced (enlarge) depending on a change in apparent width of a lane during template updating. Since the characteristic portion of the front (rear) portion of the vehicle is registered, and the vehicle is tracked by the pattern-matching process, no reference image of a road portion on which no vehicle exists is required, and influence of approaching or overlapping of another vehicle can be reduced. A traffic flow can be monitored at high precision regardless of deserted traffic or crowded traffic. Since the size is reduced (enlarged) during template updating, a vehicle can be stably tracked by using a template having an appropriate size in the range from the near position to the distant position.

摘要: A cable connector is provided including an insulative housing having an insertion opening through which a flat flexible cable may be inserted. An actuator is movably mounted on the housing and configured to be moved from a first position at which the flat flexible cable may be inserted and a second position at which the contact pads of the flat flexible cable are operatively engaged by terminals of the connector. A plurality of conductive terminals are mounted in the housing. Each terminal is configured to be electrically connected to a contact pad of the flat flexible cable. A first group of the terminals has an actuator holding arm portion that engages the actuator to facilitate movement of the actuator between the first and second positions. Each of a second group of the terminals has a plurality of distinct, resilient, cantilevered, contact arm portions configured to be electrically connected to one of the contact pads of the flat flexible cable.

The connector shield case is formed by bending a metal blank having a predetermined shape. The connector shield case comprises a ceiling plate portion, side wall portions extending downward from corresponding opposite side ends of the ceiling plate portion, mounting projecting-leg portions extending downward from each of the side wall portions, a bottom plate support portion connecting, at opposite ends, with the side wall portions and a bottom plate portion in parallel with the ceiling plate portion and connecting with the bottom plate support portion via a bend portion. With respect to the front-rear direction, the bottom plate portion overlaps in position with at least one of the mounting projecting-leg portions.

摘要: A technique for detecting an abnormal behavior by monitoring moving objects such as human being and a car. The place where the abnormal behavior of the moving objects occurs is deduced from the position of the moving object and the direction in which the moving object moves and presented to the car. An abnormal detector comprises means for determining the position of the moving object and the direction in which the moving object moves, means for determining the place where an abnormal incident causing an abnormal behavior of the moving object occurs on the basis of the determined position and direction, and means for displaying the place where the abnormal incident occurs. Therefore it is possible to immediately know the cause of the abnormal behavior of the moving object from the video information collected by observation monitoring moving objects such as a human being and a car.
