The compressor adjusts the discharge displacement based on control of the inclination of a swash plate located in a crank chamber. The compressor includes a supply passage for connecting a discharge chamber with the crank chamber to supply the gas from the discharge chamber to the crank chamber and a bleeding passage for connecting the crank chamber with a suction chamber to release the gas from the crank chamber to the suction chamber. The control valve includes a first valve mechanism for selectively opening and closing the supply passage, a second valve mechanism for adjusting the flow rate of the gas released from the crank chamber to the suction chamber through the bleeding passage, and a solenoid mechanism for actuating the first valve mechanism and the second valve mechanism. The first valve mechanism and the second valve mechanism operate independently. The first valve mechanism, the second valve mechanism and the solenoid mechanism are retained in a single housing.

    摘要: An improved lubricating structure of a compressor is disclosed. A swash plate is tiltably supported on the drive shaft for an integral rotation therewith. A plurality of pistons are operably coupled to the swash plate. The rotation of the swash plate is converted to a reciprocal movement of each piston in an associated cylinder bore to compress and discharge gas that contains oil. A clearance is defined by the cylinder bore and the piston enabling the compressed gas to flow out from the cylinder bore to the swash plate. The swash plate has an operation area that receives greatest compression load based on reaction force of the compressed gas acting on the piston when the swash plate rotates. The swash plate has at least one bore for attaching the swash plate to a jig when the swash plate is ground during its manufacturing process. The bore is arranged to allow the gas flow out to the swash plate from the cylinder bore through the clearance to flow to the operation area.

The plate member has a plurality of ports respectively arranged in association with the compression chambers for connecting each compression chamber with the gas chamber. A plurality of valve flaps are respectively arranged in association with the ports. Each of the valve flaps faces the plate member to selectively open and close the associated port. Each valve flap has a proximal end supported on the plate member. The plate member has at least one groove formed thereon and facing the proximal end of each valve flap. Foreign matter enters between the proximal end of each valve flap and the plate member and is collected by the groove. The groove extends over at least two valve flaps.

The compressor is provided with a mechanism for obtaining an orbital movement of the rotary scroll member while preventing a rotation thereof about its own axis. The mechanism has a stationary and a rotary ring arranged in parallel and spaced from each other. These rings form a plurality of circumferential spaced facing pairs of circular holes. The mechanism also has shoes arranged in the respective holes and balls arranged between the shoes in the facing pair of holes. The shoes can maintain a parallel location with respect to the corresponding holes, since the shoes are movable relative to the ball. A sealtight contact of the rotary scroll member with the stationary scroll member is realized over a prolonged period.

The compressor has a cam body, pistons, a supply passage, a release passage, and an on-off valve. The inclination angle of the cam body is changeable based on the pressure in the control pressure chamber. A piston reciprocates in each cylinder bore as the cam body rotates. The supply passage supplies the refrigerant in the discharge pressure zone to the control pressure chamber. The release passage releases the refrigerant in the control pressure chamber to the suction pressure zone. The on-off valve selectively opens and closes the release passage in response to changes of the temperature. The on-off valve shuts off the release passage when the temperature is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature.

The circular passage, which is a portion of the suction pressure region, has a circular cross-section, and is in communication with an external refrigerant circuit. The communication passage, which is a portion of the suction pressure region, intersects the circular passage for connection therewith, and is communicable with the compression chamber. The cylindrical member is fitted into the circular passage. The passage heat-insulating member made of an insulating material covers at least a portion of a passage wall surface which forms the communication passage. Rotation of the cylindrical member is prevented by engaging the passage heat-insulating member with the cylindrical member.

    摘要: Lubricating oil feeding mechanism has an oil-collecting recess and an oil-supplying groove formed on the wall of the housing. The oil-collecting recess connects a gap defined between the through hole and the bolt to the oil-supplying groove, the gap being in the upper position with respect to a sliding part to be lubricated in the housing in an operating state of the mounted compressor. The oil-collecting recess extends from the gap in the circumferential direction of the drive shaft, and the oil-supplying groove upwardly extends toward the oil-collecting recess. The oil-supplying groove is arranged so as to guide lubricating oil to the sliding part. Lubricating oil adhered on the bolt can be collected to the oil-collecting recess via the gap, and is fed to the sliding part through the oil-supplying groove. Therefore, a large amount of lubricating oil in a swash plate chamber can be utilized to lubricate the sliding part.

The refrigerant gas that has been compressed by the compression mechanism flows through the discharge passage. The oil separator is arranged in the discharge passage and separates the lubricant oil from the refrigerant gas flowing in the discharge passage. The oil separator has a rotator that causes the refrigerant gas to flow around the axis of the rotator and a circumferential wall that encompasses the rotator and extends along the axis of the rotator. The rotator and the circumferential wall define a separation zone in between. The lubricant oil is separated from the refrigerant gas by the flow of the refrigerant gas around the rotator in the separation zone. The circumferential wall has an oil outlet that allows the separated lubricant oil to flow to the exterior of the oil separator. The oil separator has an inlet port that allows the refrigerant gas to flow into the separation zone and an outlet port that allows the refrigerant gas to flow out of the separation zone. The rotator is arranged between the inlet port and the outlet port. The inlet port and the outlet port are arranged so that an inlet direction of the refrigerant gas flowing through the inlet port is substantially parallel with an outlet direction of the refrigerant gas flowing through the outlet port.
