摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a ring segment of a gas turbine in which the temperature is maintained low, damage due to high temperature oxidation is prevented, and high temperature deformation is prevented. In order to achieve the object, the present invention provides a ring segment of a gas turbine which comprises a blade ring, a main shaft and moving blades comprising a plurality of individual units which define an annular form by being arranged around the peripheral direction of the main shaft, and disposed so that its inner peripheral surface is maintained at a constant distance from the tips of the moving blades, wherein grooves which extend along the axial direction of the main shaft of the turbine are formed upon of the individual units so as mutually to confront one another; a seal plate which is inserted into each mutually confronting pair of the grooves so as to connect together the adjacent pair of individual units; and contact surfaces which are formed at positions more radially inward than the seal plates, which extend in the axial direction and the peripheral direction and which mutually contact one another.

摘要: A method for recovering a component from gas that is produced by a coke oven battery. The total amount of gas that will be produced by the coke oven battery is predicted by determining a quantity of coal charged, and determining variations of a production rate of the gas. Therefore, a prediction value of gas to be produced is made based on the quantity of coal and the determined variations. An error is determined between the actually-measured value of gas and a prediction value. The prediction value for that and other times is corrected. Based on this prediction value, gas recovery conditions for the coke oven gas are controlled.

摘要: A thin-film magnetic head having a magnetic core formed by a thin-film deposition technique on a substrate formed of crystallized glass which comprises of a mass of microcrystalline aggregation particles having an average particle size of 1 to 10 .mu.m and each comprising of an aggregation of microcrystalline grains having an average grain size of about 0.5 .mu.m or smaller. This structure enables an improvement in the abrasion resistance of the head and, hence, an improvement in the recording/reproduction characteristics while maintaining the desired workability of the substrate, thereby improving the head in producibility and reliability.

摘要: A foreign matter detector includes an oscillator for generating an oscillating signal, a phase shifter connected to the oscillator and adapted to provide a phase shifted oscillating signal, and an electromagnetic transducer. The transducer includes an excitation coil connected to the oscillator and two interconnected detection coils magnetically coupled to the excitation coil and adapted to produce a differential signal therebetween when an object is passed through the transducer. The detector also includes a first detector adapted to produce a first detected analog signal corresponding to the component of the differential signal in phase with the oscillating signal and a second detector adapted to produce a second detected analog signal corresponding to the component of the differential signal in phase with the phase shifted oscillating signal. The detector further includes an analog to digital converter connected to the first and second detectors adapted for converting the first and second analog detected signals into first and second series of digital values, respectively, circuitry connected to the converter for weighting the digital values, and circuitry connected to the weighting circuitry for selecting a representative value for the object from each of the first and second series of the weighted digital values.

摘要: A dispersion feeder used in a combination weighing machine for distributively feeding product to be weighed out to a plurality of weighing units arranged around it. The feeder is characterized in that it includes a mechanism for effecting rotational movement of the center or apex of its dispersion table. This movement exerts a centrifugal force on product fed onto the table, including product in and near the center of the table, thereby ensuring that such product is removed from the table.

摘要: A novel product feeding device for a combination weighing machine. The feeding device is designed to feed a plurality of weighing hoppers of the machine with product, such as uncooked meat, having sticky characteristics so that it cannot be conveyed by vibrating conveyor troughs as used in prior art conventional combination weighing machines. The novel feeding device includes a plurality of horizontal rotating discs corresponding to respective weighing hoppers. The discs are arranged in successively overlapping fashion for transferring product fed to the discs at one sides thereof to respective weighing hoppers disposed under the discs at the opposite sides thereof.

摘要: A combination weighing machine having a plurality of weighing units and being adopted to load at least one of the weighing units with articles having a predetermined volume, to compare the weight signal from this weighing unit with a predetermined reference weight signal and to deliver the articles of the predetermined weight if their weight is greater than the reference weight. If the weight of such articles is less than the reference weight the machine is operable to generate combinations of the aforesaid; weight signal and the weight signals from the other weighing units to select a combination having a weight greater than the reference weight, for the purpose of forming batches of articles each having volume and weight greater than predetermined values.
