摘要： A device for eliminating a channel effect is provided. A time-domain channel estimating unit generates a channel estimation result according to a first reference signal. A fast Fourier transform (FFT) unit performs FFT on the channel estimation result to generate a plurality of channel frequency responses corresponding to a plurality of frequency indices. An adjusting unit receives a plurality of input signals, and determines whether to adjust the input signal of each of the frequency indices according to the amplitude of the channel frequency response of each of the frequency indices to generate a set of adjusted signals. An inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT) unit performs IFFT on a set of output signals associated with the set of adjusted signals to generate a feedback signal. The time-domain channel estimating unit further generates another channel estimation result according to a second reference signal and the feedback signal.

摘要： A frequency calibration apparatus, applied to a phase locked loop (PLL), includes a frequency detecting module and a search module. The frequency detecting module includes a first counter, a second counter and a comparing unit. During a monitoring period, the first counter and the second counter respectively generates a first count and a second count. The comparing unit compares the first count with the second count to generate a comparison result indicating at least three situations. The search module selects a frequency curve in response to the comparison result, and calibrates configuration of a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) according to the frequency curve.

摘要： A calibration system for a display device is provided. The calibration system includes an image signal source, a user-motion sensing module, a control module, and a calibration interface. The image source drives the display device to display a reference image and an indication icon included in the reference image. The user-motion sensing module detects a user motion and generating a corresponding sensing result. The control module controls the image signal source to move the indication icon according to the sensing result. After selecting a region to be calibrated in the reference image by the indication icon through the user-motion sensing module, a user can adjust an image characteristic parameter of the display device that corresponds to the region to be calibrated through the calibration interface.

摘要： A signal processing method for a display device is provided. The display device is capable of connecting a portable consumer electronic device via a high-definition link (MHL) port. Via the communication bus (CBUS) in the MHL port, a set of encryption codes is provided to the portable consumer electronic device. Based on an encrypted identification fed back from the portable consumer electronic device, it is determined whether the portable consumer electronic device passes authentication. If the portable consumer electronic device passes the authentication, when a human interface device provides a user command to the display device, the user command is encrypted according to the set of encryption codes to generate an encrypted user command compliant to the CBUS specification. Via the CBUS of the MHL port, the encrypted user command is provided to the portable consumer electronic device.

摘要： A signal receiver includes a current source providing a current having a current value, a pair of active input devices, and a pair of resistors. Each active input device includes a control node, a first conduction node, and a second conduction node. One of the control nodes receives an input signal. The first conduction nodes are connected to each other and receive the current. One of the second conduction nodes serves as an output node. The active input devices output an output signal to a core circuit according to the current and the input signal. Each resistor has a resistance value. A target voltage value is determined according to the resistance value and the current value, such that a voltage swing of the output signal is limited within the target voltage value, and an operating voltage of the core circuit is substantially equal to the target voltage value.
