    摘要: The present disclosure relates to an inner cylinder of an explosion-venting-type aerosol fire extinguishing device, including a cylinder body (3) and a cylinder cover component (4) arranged on one end of the cylinder body (3), and an explosion-venting device arranged on the cylinder body (3). The explosion-venting device includes a friction layer (11), a connecting rod (12), a guiding unit (13), and a limiting device (14). The connecting rod (12) are connected with the cylinder cover component (4). The friction layer (11) is provided between the connecting rod (12) and the cylinder body (3). The friction layer (11) provides a frictional resistance and a buffering force for the connecting rod (12) when the connecting rod (12) is displaced, under the guidance of the guiding unit (13), along a direction that a hot air stream of the cylinder body (3) is jetting towards. The guiding unit (13) is a device capable of providing guidance for the connecting rod (12) when the connecting rod (12) is moving. The limiting device (14), the cylinder cover component (4), and the connecting rod (12) are fixedly connected. The limiting device (14) limits the connecting rod (12) when an extremity thereof slides to the cylinder cover component (4). The present disclosure uses primarily the movement and limiting of the explosion-venting device to consume kinetic energy generated by deflagration, thus achieving the goal of safe and effective explosion ventilation, and preventing a grain (7) from causing injuries and damages when deflagrated.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a solid aerosol detonator capable of generating a fire extinguishing gas by vaporizing an internal solid fire extinguishing agent in order to extinguish a fire which may be generated in a place to live or an industrial place and a fire extinguishing apparatus using the same. The solid aerosol detonator and the fire extinguishing apparatus using the same can be detonated using only a fire extinguishing agent of a solid form without using an electronic match or an ignition agent, that is, a material coated on an electrical percussion. Accordingly, the combustion action of a solid aerosol can be stably generated because the solid aerosol detonator and the fire extinguishing apparatus using the same are not sensitive to a change in the physical properties and a change in the temperature even after a lapse of a specific time.

The first compartment may be rotatable relative to the second compartment. The apparatus may further include a barrier disposed between the first compartment and the second compartment configured to separate the first extinguishant agent from the second extinguishant agent, and a barrier rupture mechanism. The barrier rupture mechanism may be configured to rupture the barrier in response to rotation of the first compartment relative to the second compartment to permit the first extinguishant agent to mix with the second extinguishant agent and cause a pressure generating reaction that forms an extinguishant mixture and forces the extinguishant mixture through the at least one escape hole of the housing.

    摘要: A two-part starter mechanism for a powder aerosol generator fire suppression system is provided. Generally, the starter mechanism includes a pyrotechnic igniter assembly and a removable mechanical trigger coupled thereto. The igniter assembly is integrally formed with and/or embedded within the powder aerosol generator and operable, upon activation by the mechanical trigger, initiates a chemical reaction leading to the discharge of the powder aerosol fire suppressant. By being detachable, the mechanical trigger may be transported and stored separate from the pyrotechnic igniter thereby improving the overall safety of the fire suppression system.

    摘要: A fire extinguishing device of the explosive type is disclosed for use in interior or localized exterior conflagrations, wherein the force of detonation of the device is minimalized through the use of low density/low mass components; no part of the device having sufficient mass or density to typically constitute a safety hazard as flying debris, nor be dangerous in concussive shock due the explosive burst. The present invention is composed of a lightweight casing of rigid plastic foam or other suitably frangible material, with an abrasion-resistant, thin plastic, protective, exterior sheathing. Within the internal cavity of the device, a low explosive yield detonator is located at or near the center of mass, and is actuated by fuse cord(s) extending from the detonator, the end(s) of which extend(s) from the interior detonator to a mounting at or near the exterior surface. The interior volume of the hollow casing is chargeable, through variations in internal configuration, with a variety of fire-retardant chemical agents, including dry powders, two-part reactants, liquid components or others, singly or in combination.
