摘要： In a device for fastening identification members, such as plates, to a hard receiving material by means of bolts, a bolt setting gun is mounted on a support frame for movement between a firing position where its muzzle is spaced from the receiving material and a fired position where the muzzle is located adjacent the receiving material. Supported from the gun is a storage element in which a plurality of identification members are held ready to be moved, one at a time, from an open end of the storage element to a location in front of the muzzle in the firing position. An angle lever pivotally attached to the storage element and moves the identification members from the storage element into position in front of the muzzle. The angle lever is spring biased into position for withdrawing an identification member from the storage element. The gun has a noze adjacent its muzzle and as the muzzle returns from the fired position to the firing position, the nose contacts the angle lever and pivots it, against the spring biasing action, so that an identification member is moved in front of the muzzle. When the gun is fired, the nose moves toward the receiving material and releases the angle lever. In its released condition, the angle lever, due to the spring biasing action, moves into position to pick up another identification member. Accordingly, during each firing cycle, as one identification member is fastened to the hard receiving material, another identification member is automatically moved in position in front of the muzzle of the gun.

摘要： Material supply apparatus including pallets of equal size on which material to be fed to a cutting machine may be stored. The pallets are arranged, one above another, in alignment with one another in storage bays formed by shelving units. The storage bays of each shelving unit are positioned one above another. At least one of the shelving units is positioned in spaced relation with respect to another of the shelving units transversely of the longitudinal extent of the pallets, providing a free space between these shelving units. The width of the free space is greater than that of the pallets. A conveyor which is drivable in two opposite directions is positioned between the cutting machine and a withdrawal bay operatively associated with one of the shelving units. The withdrawal bay is part of an arrangement which includes members for withdrawing material from the pallets onto the conveyor and for reinserting material from the conveyor onto the pallets. Pallet transport devices are arranged for transporting the pallets from the storage bays into the withdrawal bay and back again. The transport devices, the members for withdrawing and reinserting material, and the conveyor are coupled to a program control system and are controlled by signals therefrom. A data carrier provided on each pallet is adapted to store data which determine the working speed of the cutting machine and the pressure exerted by clamping devices associated with the machine on the material being cut with regard to the nature of the material assigned to each respective pallet. A sensor is operatively associated with the withdrawal bay for sensing the data carried by the data carriers. The cutting machine and the clamping jaws are responsive to signals from the sensor which establish the working speed of the machine and the pressure exerted by the clamping jaws.

摘要： The invention relates to a parts transfer and storage unit wherein individual parts such as printed circuit boards which are to have various manufacturing processes performed thereon may be transferred to cartridges and stored therein for movement to other locations within the manufacturing plant. The cartridges are mounted for vertical sliding movement in a plurality of guides mounted on a rotating stand. Latch means is provided for securing the cartridges within the guideways and a single drive means indexes the cartridge vertically as the individual parts are fed into the cartridge or removed therefrom. Further latch means is provided for securing the cartridges in their elevated positions so that the rotary holder may be rapidly indexed from one cartridge to the next for engagement with the drive means so that unloading or loading of the cartridges can take place at a rapid rate.
