Abstract:
The present invention provides an apparatus and a method of the utilization of the same of a tape drive window regulator with a counterbalance. The counterbalance decreases the amount of torque required for the winder to raise the window glass. An embodiment of the present invention provides a window regulator wherein the drive tape is always in a tension mode.
Abstract:
An automatic door including a door body connected to a chain or belt extending between and wound around a drive pulley disposed on one side of a door opening and a driven pulley disposed on the other side thereof in which the door body is actuated to open and close by allowing the drive pulley to be rotated forwardly or reversely by an electric motor connected through a main switch and a controller to a main electric power supply source, comprises an apparatus for automatically moving the door body to its closing-stop point when the supply of electric power to the motor is interrupted by the OFF operation of the main switch, and a locking apparatus for automatically locking the door body in its closing-stop position at that time.
Abstract:
A wire-driving device for a window regulator comprising a first pulley secured to a shaft supported rotatably to a casing, a second pulley secured to the shaft so as to be rotatable and axially movable along the shaft, and a wire of which both end portions are wound round said first pulley and second pulley respectively in the opposite direction to each other, the wire being capable to transmit power when the shaft is rotated, and ratchet teeth being provided on each of facing side surfaces of the pulleys, whereby elongation of the wire is automatically absorbed when the shaft is rotated to wind and unwind the wire round the pulleys.
Abstract:
Closing arrangement for sliding doors adapted to move between closed and open positions along a lengthwise guide track. The arrangement includes a rotor operatively connected with connecting links connected to the door and arranged to move along the guide track. Brake arrangement is mounted with a drive member mounted in coaxial alignment with the rotor shaft. The closing arrangement is provided with a coupling device which is operatively connected to the rotor shaft and comprises an electromagnetic coupling and a friction coupling mounted on a common shaft. The coupling device prevents an inadvertant backward movement of the open sliding door to its closed position.
Abstract:
This is a closer for sliding doors which includes a coil spring and a cushioning element in combination therewith and is specifically constructed to facilitate attaching the same to a sliding door and the invention also includes the method and apparatus for attaching the closer.
