摘要： A light weight pneumatic tire having a thin side wall rubber is disclosed. The thin side wall rubber has previously been squeezed on that region of the outer surface of an upper ply which corresponds to the side wall portion of the tire prior to the tire shaping step, and has a Shore A hardness after vulcanization of 40.degree. to 55.degree., an excellent flex-cracking and weather resistant property. The upper ply is superimposed about at least a portion extending from a hump portion to a bead portion is composed of cords coated with a high resilient rubber. A tread rubber layer is extended across the thin side wall rubber layers and pressed and made integral therewith by stitching.

The run flat tire has a pair of sidewall-reinforcing layers, each comprising an elastic filler extending from an end location adjacent a bead core in a bead portion to the other end location in a tread portion through a sidewall portion of the tire, the elastic filler being reinforced with at least two reinforcing plies, one of which extends along one side surface of the elastic filler toward the tread portion, and then, additionally extends into the tread portion, and the other one of which extends along the other side surface of the elastic filler toward the bead portion, and the, additionally extends into the tread portion.

摘要： A radial tire for heavy load vehicles such as light trucks, trucks, busses, super-large type construction vehicles, etc. is disclosed. The radial tire comprises a carcass ply composed of a steel cord ply and wound around a bead core from the inside toward the outside thereof to form a turn-up portion. The upper end of the turn-up portion is upwardly extended to a position located between a point passing over the maximum width point of the carcass ply expanded by applying an internal pressure to the tire and a point where a normal drawn perpendicular from a hump to the carcass ply crosses with the carcass ply. The turn-up portion of the carcass ply is separated from the carcass ply by means of a soft rubber layer composed of rubber having a Shore A hardness which is smaller than a Shore A hardness of a coating rubber of the carcass ply and a 300% modulus of elasticity which is 50% to 85% of a 300% modulus of elasticity of the coating rubber of the carcass ply.

摘要： A pneumatic vehicle tire with a carcass the layers of which are anchored at the beads by being looped around the bead cores. On each of the bead cores there is arranged a rubber profile of approximately triangular cross section laterally engaging a carcass layer, while laterally outwardly of and adjacent to each rubber profile a rubber plate is provided which is considerably harder than the respective adjacent rubber profile and the rim portions of which taper to a thin edge. Each of the rubber plates engages on opposite sides the respective adjacent carcass layers and extends in the direction toward the respective adjacent tire shoulder to a height of up to one-third or even one-half of the respective adjacent tire side wall.

The metal cords are also parallel to one another. The angle formed between the metal cord strip and the tire''s circumferential line is from 2* to 10* greater than the angle between the textile cords and the circumferential line. The angle of inclination of the metal cord strip is in a direction opposite to the textile cord strips.
