    Abstract: A recording apparatus includes a control unit that acquires information regarding shapes and sizes of a recording material and a transport material to which the recording material is to be bonded. The control unit is configured to operate in a first recording mode in which a positioning pattern is recorded on the transport material, the positioning pattern being used to position the recording material on the transport material, and also configured to operate in a second recording mode in which the data is recorded on the recording material positioned on the transport material during transport of the transport material.

    Abstract: A printer includes a driving roller to move a medium supported on a support table in a predetermined transportation direction, and pinch roller assemblies each including a pinch roller, a support to support the pinch roller to allow the pinch roller to contact, or to be spaced from, the driving roller, and an actuator provided upstream in the transportation direction with respect to the pinch roller. The actuator includes a contact portion contactable with the support, and an operation portion to press the contact portion to the support to move the pinch roller in a direction away from the driving roller.

The printing engine is to form an image on a printing paper. The paddle device is to move the printing paper ejected from the printing engine in a moving direction to align a first end of the printing paper. The stapler device is to staple the align printing paper. The processor is to control the paddle device and the stapler device to move a second end of the aligned printing paper in an opposite direction to the moving direction when the first end of the printing paper is aligned.

    Abstract: A printing apparatus includes a first feeding part configured to feed print media from a first support part supporting the print media, a second feeding part configured to feed print media from a second support part supporting the print media, and a print head configured to print on the print media fed by the first feeding part or the second feeding part. Further, the printing apparatus includes a first conveying path where the print media fed by the first feeding part are conveyed to the print head, and a second conveying path where the print media fed by the second feeding part are conveyed to the print head. At least a part of the second feeding part protrudes in a predetermined spatial area within the first conveying path during a feed operation of feeding print media from the second support part.
