摘要: The present application discloses methods and systems configured to help students navigate and understand the requirements and options for courses selection, academic programs, and transferring credits to or from another college or university. Presented are several innovative graphical methods with an automated cleaning back-end method and device designed to present in intuitive ways the requirements of and paths toward degree completion. In some embodiments, a program mapper webtool takes static course information and transforms it into an interactive online tool. The program mapper uses data that has been verified or cleaned by a data cleanup tool. The program mapper presents the verified data as pathways to guide students through a selected educational path. The program mapper may further include an authoring tool that allows authorized users to build school-specific program maps based on its own academic programs and requirements.

摘要: An on-demand computing services environment provides computing services to clients via the Internet. The on-demand computing services environment may be associated with skills that each identify the use of a one or more features of the environment. Skill ratings associated with one or more of the skills may be identified for a user account. A recommendation profile for the user account may be determined based on the designated skill ratings and a skill graph indicating dependency relationships between the skills. The recommendation profile may identify one or more training modules to be completed in association with the user account. A recommendation message including one or more recommendations selected from the recommendation profile may be transmitted to the client machine.

摘要: Implementations provide a calendar application for dynamic scheduling and adjustment of events, such as sequential training events. The calendar application is used to specify events that are to occur within a schedule of events, an order in which the events are to occur, and a duration for each event. The calendar application is also used to specify available time periods in which the events may be scheduled. Based on the specified events and available time periods, the events are scheduled into available time periods to generate a calendar, a schedule of the events that preserves the specified order of events. On detecting a change in the inputs, such as a change in the specified events and/or available time periods, the calendar may be automatically updated (in real time with respect to the change) to accommodate the change, while preserving the order and duration of events.

摘要: The present invention allows a virtual online digital classroom to manage the audio and video streams of a teacher and students in a class. The teacher and students may start in a virtual “common room” where the teacher and students may all hear each other's audio and see each other's video streams. The teacher may move the students (and themselves) to two or more virtual breakout rooms. The teacher and/or students in a breakout room can only hear (and optionally only see) the teacher and/or the students in the same breakout room. In other words, the teacher and/or students in the breakout room cannot hear (and optionally cannot see) the teacher and/or students in the common room or in other breakout rooms. In preferred embodiments, the teacher may introduce different material to different breakout rooms and assess students during the breakout session.

摘要: Parents and entities incentivize students to learn using pledges of cash, goods, and services. Students earn incentivized rewards by interacting with lessons on a digital computing device, such as a desktop computer, notebook, tablet, or “smart phone.” The lessons may include digital flash cards, text, pictures, figures, audio and video recordings ranging from classroom lectures, to classical music, to animation of scientific principles. In flashcard embodiments, the accuracy of each answer is recorded on a histogram corresponding to a particular flashcard, or the principles taught therein. The application generates performance metrics from histogram data. The performance metrics are used to generate control parameters that control the frequency and order flashcard presentation. Statistical analysis, adaptive learning and/or artificial intelligence programs refine the control parameters governing flashcard review, thereby optimizing the functionality. As a student satisfies various performance metrics and/or courseware requirements, incentives are released to the student.

摘要: An auxiliary analysis system using expert information comprises a user interface and a determination module. The user interface includes a plurality of analysis items which can be triggered by a user. The determination module coupled with the user interface includes a plurality of preliminary results corresponding to the analysis items. Each of the analysis items corresponds to at least one of the preliminary results. The user selects a plurality of analysis items to generate multiple preliminary results, and the preliminary results further generate a final judgment result by an operation process.

摘要: Learning content management systems and processes are described that enable a user to independently define or select learning content, frameworks, styles, and/or protocols. The frameworks may be configured to specify a flow or an order of presentation to a learner with respect to a learning content presentation. The style definition may define an appearance of learning content. At least partly in response to a publishing instruction, the received learning content and the received framework definition are merged and then rendered in accordance with the defined style. The rendered merged learning content and framework definition are packaged in accordance with the defined/selected protocol to provide a published learning document.
