摘要: A cutting template for use with a negative pressure wound therapy system includes a substantially rigid body. The body includes a top surface, a bottom surface, a height, and a recess. The top surface is configured to engage a drape layer. The bottom surface is configured to engage a dressing layer. The height is defined between the top surface and the bottom surface. The height is configured to create a gap between the drape layer and the dressing layer. The recess is disposed substantially about a perimeter of the body. The recess is configured to receive an edge of a cutting tool so that an opening is formed in the drape layer when the edge is traversed about the perimeter.

摘要: An in vivo temperature control system including a catheter insertable into a living body; a temperature sensor that can measure the temperature in the living body; a liquid storage section that stores a liquid; a pump that supplies the liquid from the liquid storage section to the catheter; and a control section that controls driving of the pump; wherein the control section calculates a difference obtained by subtracting an integrated amount of the liquid sucked inside of the catheter from an integrated amount of the liquid released outside of the catheter, and allows the pump to operate and suck the liquid into the catheter when the difference exceeds a preset threshold, and then stop the driving of the pump when the difference reaches the preset threshold or less.

摘要: A cleaning catheter (200) insertable into a tracheal ventilation tube (160) and an input module (156) are provided for use with a suction source (601), the input module (156) coupled to the cleaning catheter (200) and including (i) an inflation module (330), including an inflation chamber (335) separate from the suction source (601); (ii) a flow regulator (700), configured to assume first and second fluid-control states; and (iii) a mechanical user control element (320), which is configured (a) to mechanically and non-electrically set the fluid-control states, (b) to assume first and second configurations, and (c) to mechanically and non-electrically increase pressure in an interior of an inflation chamber (335) during a transition of the mechanical user control element (320) from the first configuration to the second configuration. The flow regulator (700), when in the first fluid-control state connects the suction source (601) and an interior of an inflatable element (588) of the cleaning catheter (200) in fluid communication to deflate the inflatable element (588).

摘要: An apparatus for applying negative pressure to a wound is disclosed. The apparatus can include a housing, a pressure source, a canister, and a controller. The pressure source can be supported by the housing and provide negative pressure via a fluid flow path to a wound dressing positioned over a wound. The canister can collect exudate from the wound. The controller can monitor a parameter indicative of providing negative pressure to the wound dressing with the pressure source, determine from the parameter that the wound is treatable with a canisterless wound therapy apparatus, and output for presentation to a user a notification indicating that the wound is treatable with the canisterless wound therapy apparatus.

摘要: To more easily perform sputum suctioning at a low degree of invasion. An aspirate-guiding apparatus for guiding an aspirate from a living body to an upper respiratory tract includes an aspirate outlet through which the aspirate is dischargeable, a patient connection port that is connectable to a patient, an intake port that is connectable to an intake apparatus, and a switching valve that switches a connection source of the patient connection port to the aspirate outlet or the intake port. The aspirate-guiding apparatus further includes a casing that includes the aspirate outlet, the patient connection port, and the intake port. The switching valve is slidably provided in the casing and is capable of switching the connection source of the patient connection port to the aspirate outlet or the intake port.

摘要: Aspiration catheter systems are described that implement a procedure for aspirating a clot from a blood vessel using an aspiration catheter system, the method comprising:
initiating calibrated continuous aspiration;
evaluating aspiration measurements; and
adjusting application of aspiration based on aspiration measurements. In particular, pulsed aspiration can be applied selectively in response to flow measurements, such as values of the flow rate below a threshold value. The automated system can also use flow measurement to determine if the clot is presumably cleared as well as estimating the clot hardness. Effective aspiration can be applied with aspiration off periods shorter than the aspiration on periods. The corresponding aspiration system can comprise an automated system with a controller, an automatic valve, a flow rate sensor, a filter, and generally a pressure sensor. The catheter can be a full length aspiration catheter or a distal access aspiration catheter sharing the aspiration lumen with a guide catheter.-

摘要: Systems and methods for the intravascular treatment of clot material within a blood vessel of a human patient are disclosed herein. A method in accordance with embodiments of the present technology can include, for example, positioning a distal portion of a catheter proximate to the clot material within the blood vessel. The method can further include coupling a pressure source to the catheter via a tubing subsystem including a valve or other fluid control device and, while the valve is closed, activating the pressure source to charge a vacuum. The valve can then be opened to apply the vacuum to the catheter to thereby aspirate at least a portion of the clot material from the blood vessel and into the catheter.

摘要: Urine collection systems and associated methods and devices are disclosed herein. A representative system can include a urine collection device, a flow control assembly configured to direct a urine flow from the patient to the urine collection device, and a urine measurement device including a first sensor and a second sensor. The first sensor is configured to generate first sensor data based on a weight of the container, and the second sensor is configured to generate second sensor data based on the urine flow from the patient to the container. The system can further include non-transitory computer readable media having instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the system to perform operations comprising determining a first patient urine output based on the first sensor data; and determining a second patient urine output based on the second sensor data.
