Each footpad is generally rectangular in shape, and is sized and shaped to be held on frame (8) in a retracted position, and to be moved into a generally horizontal extended position so that footpads (25) may be stood on while removing wastebasket liner (6) from the wastebasket.

    摘要: A container for storing free-flowing materials including an outer shell having serially connected rectangular shell panels with top flaps forming a top and bottom flaps forming a bottom. The outer shell has a rectangular cross section and includes a cut-out in a lower corner. The container also has an outer liner having an irregular octagonal cross section fitting substantially snugly within the outer shell, with an opening in the lower edge of the outer liner facing the cut-out. An inner liner has the same configuration as the outer liner and fits snugly within the outer liner. The inner liner includes top flaps at the top, bottom flaps at the bottom, and an opening adjacent the outer liner slot. Several reinforcing bands encircle the inner liner. A flexible bladder is located in the inner liner and has an inlet valve near the top and a discharge valve extending through the inner liner opening and retained by the outer liner opening. The outer shell cut-out is removable to expose the discharge valve. A base supports and elevates the flexible bladder. Top and bottom rectangular supports are located above and below the flexible bladder.

    摘要: The invention teaches apparatus suited for holding highly corrosive solvents heated under sealed conditions to temperatures up to 500.degree. C., for even extended durations. The apparatus is in the form of an open top vessel having a removable cover therefor, a seal cooperating between the vessel and cover, and clamping structures isolated radially beyond the seal from the vessel contents to hold the cover and vessel sealed together. The vessel and cover can be made structurally of chemically resistent material, such as a nickel alloy; or can be made as a separate chemically resistent liner, cover and seal structure contained within an outer pressure shell and cover, and clamping structures. The liner, cover, and seal would be formed of chemically resistent tantalum (Ta), platinum (Pt) or polytetrafluoroethylene. Gem-quality diamonds can be refined by using different related vessels exclusively to hold respective caustic, acid and rinse solvents, and moving the diamonds from vessel to vessel sequentially.

    摘要: A bulk material container includes a shell. Disposed in the shell is a flexible liner for containing material to be dispensed. The upper wall of the flexible liner is clamped or pressed between the rim flange at the top of the shell and the rim flange of a removable top for the container. In a modified bulk material container, the top wall of the flexible liner is detachably secured to the underside of a top on the shell by means of interlocking metallic hook and loop tapes. The discharge end of a spout for the flexible liner through which material is dispensed is extended outwardly to form a lip. The lip of the discharge spout of the flexible liner is detachably secured between a flange of an outlet fitting and a confronting flange of a discharge fitting. The outlet fitting is welded to the wall of the shell and the discharge fitting is secured to the outlet fitting by nuts and bolts. The lip of the spout is sandwiched between the flange of the outlet fitting and the flange of the discharge fitting.
