    摘要: An automatic transmission locking mechanism for parking, comprising a detent lever interlocked with and adapted to be turned by a manual shift lever, a rod adapted to be advanced or retracted by the detent lever, a cam slidably mounted on the rod and adapted to push a pawl having a detent to the operating position where the detent engages with a parking gear when the automatic transmission is placed in the parking range, a bracket on which the cam runs and a spring for disengaging the detent from the parking gear and for retaining the pawl at the released position. The spring is disposed in the vicinity of the free end of the pawl and within a plane in which the pole turns, with one end thereof engaged with the free end portion of the pawl and with the other end thereof fixed in a finished hole formed in a stationary part.

    摘要: An automatic transmission locking mechanism including a detent lever rotatively interlocked with a manual shift lever and provided with notches corresponding to the shift positions, respectively, of the manual shift lever for receiving the detent of a detent spring, a rod adapted to be advanced or retracted by the detent lever, a parking gear fixed to the output shaft of the automatic transmission, a pawl having a detent to be engaged with the parking gear in locking the parking gear, a cam slidably mounted on the rod and adapted to push the pawl for turning when the rod is advanced in shifting the manual shift lever to the parking position, a bracket on which the cam runs upward and a spring for releasing the pawl from the parking gear and for retaining the pawl at the released position. A contact surface formed in the free end of the pawl for engagement with the cam is formed so as to reduce the detrimental slip between the cam and the contact surface to the least possible degree.

    摘要: A lock-up clutch having high durability and high reliability of operation is provided in the present invention. Said lock-up clutch comprises a pump impeller connected mechanically with a prime mover, a power shaft, a turbine runner which transmits a driving force given by said pump impeller through a fluid to the power shaft, a stator which forces the circulating flow of a fluid to said pump impeller from said turbine runner, and a one-way clutch which restricts unilaterally the direction of rotation of said stator, wherein the lock-up clutch for a hydraulic unit featuring the provision of a lock-up clutch installed between said pump impeller and said turbine runner to transmit input from the power shaft of said prime mover to said turbine runner by direct, mechanical connection without a medium of a fluid, and of a vibration damper absorbing the torsional vibration from the prime mover or the power shaft when said lock-up clutch is operated, and the installation of said vibration damper in the outside of a circulation flow passage near the inlet caliber of said turbine runner.

    摘要: A reduction ratio controlling mechanism provided within the hydraulic control system of a continuously variable automatic transmission of a vehicle including a V-belt type continuously variable transmission which comprises an input pulley and an output pulley, the effective diameter of each of said pulleys being variable by means of a corresponding hydraulic servomechanism, and a V-belt extending between said input and said output pulleys, for changing the reduction ratio of said continuously variable transmission by supplying a hydraulic fluid to and by draining same from the hydraulic servomechanism of said input pulley.The reduction ratio controlling mechanism comprises an electromagnetic up-shift valve and an electromagnetic down-shift valve each capable of producing a solenoid pressure corresponding to the running condition of the vehicle by regulating the line pressure applied thereto, and a reduction ratio control valve having a spool movable under the control of the spring force of a spring provided on one side of the spool and the solenoid pressure applied to the other side of the spool.The spring force of the spring works in the direction of movement of the spool during down-shift operation.

    摘要: An automatic four-wheel drive transfer case according to this invention comprises a differential gear connected to the output shaft of a transmission, said differential gear having first and second side gears and a casing, a clutch arranged coaxially with the output shaft for releasably engaging the casing of the differential gear with the side gears thereof, the first side gear being connected with a rearwheel drive output shaft which is arranged on the extension of the output shaft of the transmission, the second side gear being connected with an intermediate shaft arranged coaxially with the output shaft of the transmission, a selective gearing for selectively engaging the second side gear with a front-wheel drive output shaft to change over between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, and a clutch control which receives a signal indicating the position of the selective gearing and signals representing the revolution speed of the front-wheel drive output shaft and/or the rear-wheel drive output shaft so as to selectively control the operation of the clutch, whereby the clutch control engages the clutch in two-wheel drive, and in four-wheel drive it engages the clutch when the vehicle speed is below a predetermined level or when the difference in the revolution speed between the front- and rear-wheel drive output shafts is greater than a predetermined value.

    摘要: The transmission comprises a hydraulic power transmission device, a V-belt stepless shifter and a planetary gear train. At restart time when the vehicle is at rest with the V-belt stepless shifter in high gear, the hydraulic power transmission device is operated to shift for providing a relatively high torque ratio, rather than the V-belt stepless shifter. A smooth restart is thus made possible. In addition, the planetary gear train permits the shifter smoothly to switch between forward and reverse. Both features meet the transmission needs of all vehicles.
