摘要: Approaches enable image content (e.g., still or video content) to be displayed to provide a viewer with an appearance or view of the content that is based at least in part upon a current relative position and/or orientation of the viewer with respect to the device, as well as changes in that relative position and/or orientation. For example, positional data can be used to render image content from a perspective that is consistent with a viewing angle for the current relative position of the viewer. As that viewing angle changes, the content can be re-rendered or otherwise updated to display the image content from a perspective that reflects the change in viewing angle. The content can include various portions, and different adjustments can be applied to each portion based upon these and/or other such changes. These adjustments can include, for example, changes due to parallax or occlusion, which when added to the rendered content in response to relative movement between a viewer and a device can enhance the experience of the viewer and increase realism for content rendered on a two- or three-dimensional display screen.

摘要: Described herein are electronic devices that includes a display stack having a cover component atop a lightguide component and a display component below the lightguide component. In some instances, the cover component including an antiglare etching applied to a top surface of a coverglass and a touch pattern applied to a bottom surface of the coverglass. In some cases, an optically clear adhesive layer formed from two types of optically clear adhesive may be located between the cover component and the lightguide component and a ring adhesive may be applied to around an outer edge of the cover component, the optically clear adhesive and the lightguide component.

摘要: A computer-implemented matching service matches users to other users, and/or to user communities, based at least in part on a computer analysis of event data reflective of user behaviors. The event data may, for example, evidence user affinities for particular items represented in an electronic catalog, such as book titles, music titles, movie titles, and/or other types of items that tend to reflect the traits of users. Event data reflective of other types of user actions, such as item-detail-page viewing events, browse node visits, search query submissions, and/or web browsing patterns may additionally or alternatively be considered. By taking such event data into consideration, the matching service reduces the burden on users to explicitly supply personal profile information, and reduces poor results caused by exaggerations and other inaccuracies in such profile information.

摘要: Embodiments of the disclosure permit automated focusing of a camera module during assembly. The camera module can include an imaging device and a lens assembly that is movably mounted to a housing of the camera module. In certain embodiments, the automated focusing can include iteratively imaging a fixed set of reference markings, and successively quantifying the focusing quality of the camera module based at least on a defocus metric defined as a difference between a current spacing and a calibrated spacing among two of the imaged reference markings. The magnitude and sign of the defocus metric can guide, respectively, a magnitude and direction of the movement of the lens assembly relative to the imaging device. After successive adjustments yield a desired focusing quality of the camera module, the lens assembly can be locked in position and can be further processed according to a suitable camera module integration flow.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed that facilitate the collection, transmission and processing of information related to the storage processes initiated in conjunction with virtual machine instances instantiated on a hosted virtual network. A virtual machine manager component, such a hypervisor component, receives a storage request from one or more virtual machine instances hosted on a host computing device. Additionally, the virtual machine manager component can further request via the storage protocol that the storage subsystem should collect and return storage process metric information. If the storage subsystem supports the collection of the storage process metric information, the storage subsystem will provide a response to the storage request and at least some of the requested storage process metric information. The virtual machine manager component can then process the response to the storage request as appropriate and forward any storage process metric information to a storage process metrics management component.
