For an automotive restraining device such as a seat belt, which is tensioned by a pressure cylinder device which is, in turn, actuated by deceleration sensitive devices, there is provided structure for insuring that the tension applied to the restraining device does not exceed a predetermined value. In one embodiment such a device is comprised of a relief valve for venting the pressure fluid from the cylinder at a predetermined value of pressure and in another embodiment the device is comprised of a mechanical relief device interposed between the cylinder and the restraining device.

摘要： An ammunition construction for carriers, such as airplanes, comprises a launching tube which is adapted to be supported on the carrier and a missle which includes a front end portion which projects outwardly from the launching tube through a guide fin carrying tube section from the launching tube and a rear portion having a thrust drive engine which is supported in the launching tube. The launching tube includes a double walled formation defining a sealed annular space between the missle and the launching tube. The guide fin carrying tube includes projecting members distributed around its circumference which engage into guide grooves defined in the launching tube and the launching tube includes a holding ring having teeth which engage into recesses between the projections in order to ensure that no rotation takes place between the guide fin carrying tube and the launching tube.

摘要： An airbag gas generator is disclosed which includes a propellant chamber and a filter chamber arranged adjacent the propellant chamber for filtering flow of airbag propellant gas therethrough on its path to an airbag cushion. The filter chamber is provided with a plurality of alternative gas flow paths therethrough which have respective different filter resistances. Temperature dependent change-over devices are provided for controlling the flow of gas through the respective alternative gas flow paths in the filter chamber as a function of the ambient temperature at the generator.

The jacket may also include a fastening means for securing the primary charge within the jacket and securing the electric ignition to a housing or the like. The jacket may further include a torusor cylindrical flange to facilitate mounting in a housing or the like. Finally, a portion of the jacket may be surrounded by a secondary ignition agent which is enclosed by an insulating sleeve fastened on the jacket.
