    摘要: A headrest assembly for a vehicle seat. The headrest assembly includes a support bracket having a first engagement section and a moveable bracket movable between first and second positions. The headrest assembly further includes a pawl defining a cam surface. The pawl has a second engagement section and is pivotable between an engaged position, with the second engagement section engaging the first engagement section, and a disengaged position, with the second engagement section spaced from the first engagement section. The headrest assembly further includes a first tab selectively engaging and guiding the pawl into the engaged position, and a second tab selectively engaging and guiding the pawl into the disengaged position as the moveable bracket moves between the first and second positions. The headrest assembly further includes a biasing member engaging the cam surface to continuously bias the pawl into both of the engaged and disengaged positions.

    摘要: An improved warning light blinker includes an upper housing member including an integral pedestal extending from an upper surface thereof, the upper housing member being transparent, the upper housing member also including an opening in a lower portion thereof. A lower housing member mates within the upper housing member through the opening. Battery captivating members for captivating a battery so as to substantially eliminate free air from contacting a substantial portion of a battery's outer surface area is provided. A flasher circuit periodically supplies electrical energy to a light bulb. A light dispersing lens is coupled to the pedestal. In the preferred apparatus one or more solar rechargeable batteries are situated within the battery captivating members. The pedestal includes a tapered channel which narrows close to an upper end thereof and a light bulb socket engages in an interference fit near the upper end. The upper housing member includes an upper surface and the upper surface is sloped downward to allow rapid drainage of rain water to enhance the solar efficiency of the solar rechargeable batteries.

    摘要: A lantern battery substitute, comprises an upper assembly including an approximately square upper plate with rounded corners and four edges and having a resilient snap latch situated at approximately the center of the upper plate projecting downward normal to the plane of the upper plate. Four battery retaining legs project downward, one at approximately a center of each of the four edges. The legs are wide enough and situated at a suitable distance from one another so that a standard D-sized battery cell will not readily pass between any two legs situated on adjacent edges. A lower assembly includes a lower plate which is parallel to the upper plate and a base for supporting the lower plate. The base has depth adequate to cause the battery pack to have an overall height approximating that of a lantern size battery. A latch receiving aperture is situated on the lower plate, for receiving and engaging the snap latch for securing the upper and lower assemblies together. Leg engaging pegs receive and engage a portion of legs near the lower plate to resist flexing. Electrical bridges, connect four D size batteries in a series electrical circuit having positive and negative electrodes which are connected to terminals situated on the upper plate.

    摘要: Embodiments relate to methods of metal oxide nanocrystals preparation. In embodiments, a metal-organic precursor may be economically synthesized by reacting a metal with an organic acid. The organic acid may include an aliphatic chain longer than three carbon atoms. The metal may be In, Sn, Al, Ga, Zn, Cd, Sb, Bi, Ge, Mn, Ti, Nb, V, Cr, Mo, Fe, Y, Mg, Co, as well as mixtures thereof. Further processing of the metal-organic precursor (e.g. by pyrolysis, hydrolysis, or alcoholysis) produces metal oxide nanocrystals of desired characteristics. An metal-organic precursor of indium tin oxide (ITO) may be synthesized by reacting indium metal and tin metal with an organic acid having an aliphatic chain longer than three carbon atoms (e.g. stearic acid) at a temperature above 200° C. Further processing of the resulting metal-organic precursor yields ITO nanocrystals of regular shape, uniform size, and average diameter ranging of between about 1-500 nm.
