    摘要: According to a first aspect, a secure storage unit includes a plurality of movable trays within a housing and is equipped with a tray selector system for selectively accessing a tray on demand, wherein the selector system is configured to release a selected tray for access by limiting the allowable extent of movement of the tray from a stowed to an accessible position with respect to the storage unit by a pre-determined amount whereby access to selected zones of selected trays is controlled. In an embodiment of the secure storage unit, the selector system includes a plurality of discrete electromechanical locking devices operably juxtaposed with respect to the trays, and configured to be individually selectable for releasing and limiting the allowable extent of movement of the selected tray with respect to the storage unit.

    摘要: A combination mechanical and electronic lock system for use in cuffs and various other locking applications is disclosed. In the preferred embodiment, the lock is configured to receive a matching key that transmits a code that disengages the electronic lock from the mechanical lock so that the mechanical lock can be manually opened by the user. When implemented in a handcuff, for example, the mechanical lock includes a single lock mechanism and a double lock mechanism; and at least one electronic lock configured to selectively unlock at least a portion of the mechanical lock upon receipt of the proper digital code from the cuff key. The power needed to operate the electronic lock, preferably a solenoid or other actuator, is received directly or indirectly from the cuff key so that the cuff need not possess a battery.

    摘要: A dead bolt lock system which may use one or more security locks in conjunction with a dead bolt to provide various levels of security access to a door. Generally, the lock system tests the condition of the security lock or locks before allowing retraction of the dead bolt. An inside escape lever is provided as a life safety feature to allow egress from the secured area regardless of the conditions of the security locks. A trigger hold back device maintains the dead bolt in a retracted position until the door has been opened and closed again. Lock covers include associated locked-on-by-combination and relock features. A night latch or lock down feature is provided to prevent access, including authorized access through the outside of the lock system. A force blocking assembly is provided to prevent force applied to the dead bolt from harming internal components of the system. A torque override clutch prevents excessive torque applied to the outside door handle from harming internal lock system components.

    摘要: A remote control car deadbolt lock includes a lock housing (14) mountable between a car door and car door facing which includes a locking mechanism (24). Receiver assembly (12) mounts within the car door or door facing opposite the lock housing. Locking mechanism (24) includes deadbolt (26) which mounts to reciprocate between a locked position (34) and unlocked position (106). Locking mechanism (24) also includes solenoid (60) and spring actuator comprising spring (44), cam (46) and select mechanism (52). Solenoid (60) causes deadbolt (26) to reciprocate in response to an electrical signal. Spring actuator (25) controls the locked and unlocked position of deadbolt (26). Receiver assembly (12) receives deadbolt (26) when deadbolt (26) is in locked position (34), thereby causing deadbolt (26) to lock car door to car door facing. A remote actuator, in the preferred embodiment, includes a transmitter (108) and receiver (112) for remote control of locking mechanism (24).

    摘要: An electro-mechanical lock includes a selectively operated bolt or latch which, when the bolt or latch is unblocked, may be selectively moved between a lock and an unlock position. A bolt blocking pin, which is float-mounted on a bias spring, is driven, by a first solenoid to a bolt blocking position, when the bolt is in a lock position. A spring biased solenoid pin of a second solenoid, is normally held against the blocking pin by the bias-spring and is driven by the bias-spring, to secure the bolt blocking pin in a bolt or latch locking position when the blocking pin is driven to the latch blocking position by the first solenoid. The spring biased pin is withdrawn from securing the blocking pin in bolt blocking position by energization of the second solenoid. Actuation of the solenoids to drive the bolt blocking pin into the bolt blocking position and to release the bolt blocking pin from a bolt securing position is accomplished by command or code operated switching.
