摘要: Customers at a premises attempting to connect a new wireless device, such as a mobile phone or tablet to an available wireless network (Wi-Fi), receive network login information such as an Wi-Fi SSID (service set identification) and Password through a system generated equivalent QR code that can then be scanned to automatically connect to the Wi-Fi network. The system receives a request for Wi-Fi settings at a premises, identifies customer equipment associated with the premises, identifies an Wi-Fi SSID (Service Set Identification) and password associated with the customer equipment, generates a QR (Quick Response) code representing the Wi-Fi SSID and password, sends the QR code to one or more devices associated with the premises for display and subsequent scanning at the premises.

Embodiments include a guided integration and a proactive integration method, computer program product, and system to reduce and/or eliminate the need for a customer service representative to reboot a cable modem, and/or for a customer to reboot a non-responsive CPE device resulting in a fast and less disruptive service experience for the customer.

摘要: The present disclosure describes an autonomous mechanism for implementing a flexible image repository that includes an image retrieval service and an image repository management application. The flexible image repository performs delta processing to provide a subset of stored images to a subscriber device when the image retrieval service receives an image update request. The subscriber device thus receives updates to the image repository in a manner that reduces bandwidth requirements at both the server and the client, allowing client-side images to be updated more frequently. A content manager may update the flexible image repository via the image repository management application, which tags images according to a naming convention prior to inserting the images in the image repository. The tags allowing the image retrieval service to serve a multitude of subscriber devices across disparate platforms, which may provide different interfaces and have disparate access requirements, API calls, or functional behaviors. The flexible image repository employs a caching layer to further optimize the retrieval and display of the images and further optimize the delta processing.

And, the systems, methods, and apparatuses can time-shift the exclusive copy of the media content in accordance with the one or more trick playback modes and can unicast the time-shifted copy of the media content to the subscriber device to perform the one or more trick playback modes.
