    摘要: A horizontal synchronizing system for a television receiver. The sync pulses are applied to a tuned circuit consisting of a capacitor and a gyrator-simulated inductor. The resulting signal in the tuned circuit is used to control the derivation of the horizontal sawtooth waveform. The use of a gyrator allows the entire circuit to be fabricated by integrated circuit techniques, and also minimizes the possibility of side locking or spurious synchronization at multiples of 60 Hz. off the horizontal scanning frequency by eliminating the need for the conventional horizontal oscillator. This arrangement results in a phase difference between the sawtooth waveform and the sync pulses, but this phase difference is eliminated by the provision of a phase adjust circuit. A phase detector and control circuit which changes the resonant frequency of the tuned circuit by adjusting one of the gyrator impedances minimizes spurious phase shifting and ensures a stable picture. The gyrator also operates in a second mode to provide a horizontal scan in the absence of sync pulses.
