    摘要: An underwater mask including a condensing member is provided. The mask includes a lens exposed to ambient water as well as to an air compartment of the mask that is adjacent a diver's face. The mask includes a condensing member that has an inner surface that is exposed to the air compartment and that is configured to promote condensing of moisture within the air within the air compartment thereon prior to the moisture condensing on an inner surface of the lens. The condensing member may be passive and rely on thermal conductivity properties of the member or be actively electrically controlled.

    摘要: A tank cinch is configured to cooperate with a strap to secure a tank of compressed air to a buoyancy compensation device. The tank cinch includes an adjustable frame having a sliding member, a first cam receiver and a second cam receiver. A lever body including a first cam and a second cam is pivotably joined to the adjustable frame and is pivotable about a pivoting axis defined by the adjustable frame. The lever body is configured to fix a first end portion of the strap. The adjustable frame is configured to fix a second end portion of the strap with the sliding member when the lever is rotated about the pivoting axis towards the adjustable frame member. The cams are arranged to bear against an outermost surface of the tank and to be received in the cam receivers when the lever body is pivoted towards the adjustable frame.

    摘要: A shallow water anchor is provided. The shallow water anchor comprises a first anchor extension and a second anchor extension axially received by a housing. The first anchor extension is axially received by the second anchor extension such that the first and second anchor extensions are sequentially deployable from the housing using an actuation arrangement. The actuation arrangement is controlled by a control interface that is operable to detect when the shallow water anchor has reached a fully extended state and fully retracted state. The shallow water anchor further includes a biasing compensator that compensates for fluctuations in the overall depth of water the anchor is deployed in due to waves or other anomalies.

    摘要: A 360-degree sonar imaging system and method are provided. The system includes a sonar transducer assembly pod with tilted mechanically scanning sonar (MSS) transducers that is deployed into the water below the bottom of the boat. The system provides photo-like imaging of an area surrounding a boat which does not require the boat to be in motion. The pod is deployed by a variety of manual, (trolling motor, transom) or powered mechanical (bow, transom, or fairing block) deployment mechanisms to allow for deployment and retraction of the sonar transducer assembly. In particular embodiments, the MSS system communicates with a side-scan-sonar-imaging-equipped control head unit to display the images generated therefrom. Various speeds and sector scans are provided, as well as a locked side-scan sonar mode. Waypoint navigation and split screen views are also provided.
