摘要: A first communication device transmits a plurality of training signals to a second communication device via a communication channel. The first communication device receives feedback generated at the second communication device based on the plurality of training signals. The feedback includes steering matrix information for a plurality of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) tones and (ii) additional phase information corresponding to channel estimates obtained for the plurality of OFDM tone. The first communication device constructs, based on the steering matrix information, a plurality of steering matrices corresponding to the plurality of OFDM tones, and compensates, using the additional phase information, the plurality of steering matrices to reduce phase discontinuities between the OFDM tones. The first communication device steers, using the compensated steering matrices, at least one transmission via the communication channel to the second communication device.

摘要: Embodiments described herein provide a method for transmitting a wake-up radio packet to low power devices in a wireless local area network. At a wireless access point having a plurality of antennas, data for transmission to one or more lower power wireless devices are received. A wake-up radio packet, including a wake-up data frame, is configured for transmission to the one or more lower power wireless devices. A waveform for transmitting the wake-up radio packet is generated. At each of the plurality of antennas, the waveform is adjusted with spatial mapping to prevent unintentional spatial nulling of the waveform during transmission of the wake-up radio packet. The wake-up radio packet is transmitted, via the plurality of antennas, in a form of the adjusted waveform to the one or more lower power wireless devices prior to transmitting the received data to the one or more lower power wireless devices.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for distributing baseband signal processing of fifth generation (5G) new radio uplink signals. In an embodiment, a method includes receiving uplink transmissions having user data, receiving configuration parameters, and performing a first portion of baseband processing that compresses the uplink transmissions using the configuration parameters to generate compressed packets. The method also includes transmitting the compressed packets over a transmission medium to the central office that performs a second portion of the baseband processing to obtain the user data. In an embodiment, an apparatus includes a radio frequency interface that receives uplink transmissions that have user data, and a first baseband processing section that receives configuration parameters, compresses the uplink transmissions using the configuration parameters to generate compressed packets, and transmits the compressed packets over a transmission medium to the central office where a second baseband processing section processes the compressed packets to obtain the user data.

The one or more processors are configured to manage local storage or retrieval of media objects at the non-volatile memory, and to selectively compute metadata that defines content characteristics of media objects that are stored, or that are to be stored, in the non-volatile memory.

摘要: The present disclosure describes apparatuses and methods for artificial intelligence-enabled management of storage media. In some aspects, a media access manager of a storage media system receives, from a host system, host input/output commands (I/Os) for access to storage media of the storage media system. The media access manager provides information describing the host I/Os to an artificial intelligence engine and receives, from the artificial intelligence engine, a prediction of host system behavior with respect to subsequent access of the storage media. The media access manager then schedules, based on the prediction of host system behavior, the host I/Os for access to the storage media of the storage system. By so doing, the host I/Os may be scheduled to optimize host system access of the storage media, such as to avoid conflict with internal I/Os of the storage system or preempt various thresholds based on upcoming idle time.

摘要: A first communication device determines assignment of at least a first orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) tone block and a second OFDM tone block for communication with a second communication device in a wireless local area network (WLAN). The first OFDM tone block is separated from the second OFDM tone block by a gap in frequency. The first communication device generates a physical layer (PHY) data unit for transmission to the second communication device, including generating a data portion of the PHY data unit that spans the first OFDM tone block and the second OFDM tone block. The first communication device transmits the PHY data unit to the second communication device via the first OFDM tone block and the second OFDM tone block such that no data is transmitted in the third OFDM tone block for the data portion of the PHY data unit.

One of the port extenders includes: at least one upstream port; multiple downstream ports; and a forwarding engine. A forwarding database is populated with entries indicating associations between i) respective network addresses corresponding to devices coupled to downstream ports, and ii) respective local downstream ports. The forwarding database excludes entries corresponding to network addresses corresponding to devices coupled to the at least one upstream port. The forwarding engine is configured to: for a first packet received via one of the local downstream ports, and having a destination network address in the forwarding database, forward the first packet to a different local downstream port indicated by the forwarding database. For a second packet received via one of the local downstream ports, and having a destination network address not in the forwarding database, forward the second packet to the at least one upstream port.

摘要: Systems and methods for performing phase error correction are provided. A reference clock signal and a target clock signal are received. A first value is generated based on a first amount of time between a first edge of the reference clock signal and a corresponding first edge of the target clock signal. A phase of the target clock signal is adjusted a first time based on a given amount computed using the first value. After the phase of the target clock signal is adjusted, a second value is generated based on a second amount of time between a second edge of the reference clock signal and a corresponding second edge of the target clock signal. The phase of the target clock signal is adjusted a second time based on the given amount, the first value, and the second value.
