摘要: A method for manufacturing a molded member includes carrying out a multi-stage drawing process and at least one finishing ironing process on a base metal sheet, the molded member including a tubular body and a flange formed at an end portion of the body. The multi-stage drawing process includes a preliminary drawing process for forming a preliminary body having a body element from the base metal sheet, and a plurality of compression drawing processes performed after the preliminary drawing process, the compression drawing processes drawing the body element while applying compressive force along a depth direction of the body element to a circumferential wall of the body element. The at least one finishing ironing process is carried out such that a mold clearance of an upper portion of the body element is narrower than a mold clearance of a lower portion of the body element.

摘要: Provided is (i) a hot-dip Al-based alloy-coated steel sheet which includes a coated layer having a surface on which fine spangles are stably and sufficiently formed and which has a beautiful surface appearance due to the fine spangles thus formed on the surface of the coated layer, and (ii) a method of producing such a hot-dip Al-based alloy-coated steel sheet. The hot-dip Al-based alloy-coated steel sheet includes: a substrate steel sheet; and a hot-dip aluminum-based alloy coated layer which is formed on a surface of the substrate steel sheet and which contains boron at an average concentration of not less than 0.005 mass % and contains potassium at an average concentration of not less than 0.0004 mass %.

摘要: Provided is a stainless steel material for a diffusion bonding jig in which deformation of bonding members is suppressed while maintaining diffusion bonding properties of the bonding members, and in which releasability (detachability of a bonding member from a release member) after diffusion bonding treatment is excellent. An embodiment of the present invention provides a stainless steel material for a diffusion bonding jig having excellent deformation suppressibility and releasability, the material being a stainless steel material including 1.5 mass % or more of Si, and a ratio (Fr/Fp) of the high-temperature strength (Fr) of the stainless steel material at 1000° C. to the high-temperature strength (Fp) of a bonding member at 1000° C. being 0.9 or more, the bonding member to be bonded by diffusion bonding. The stainless steel material preferably includes C: 0.1 mass % or less, Si: 1.5 to 5.0 mass %, Mn: 2.5 mass % or less, P: 0.06 mass % or less, S: 0.02 mass % or less, Ni: 8.0 to 15.0 mass %, Cr: 13.0 to 23.0 mass %, and N: 0.2 mass % or less.

摘要: A production method for molten-aluminum-plated steel wire, the production method being characterized in that a steel wire (2) immersion part (6) at which the steel wire (2) is to be immersed in a molten aluminum plating bath (1) is immersed in the molten aluminum plating bath (1) after the steel wire (2) has been passed into a steel wire introduction device (7) while an immersion region (9a) thereof has been immersed in the molten aluminum plating bath (1). The steel wire introduction device (7) comprises a tube-shaped body (9), which has a total length of 10 to 1000 mm and has a through hole (8) that is for passing the steel wire (2) through the inside thereof, and includes the immersion region (9a), which is for immersion in the molten aluminum plating bath (1) to a length of 2 mm to 400 mm from an end part of one end of the tube-shaped body (9) along the long direction of the tube-shaped body (9). The ratio of the area of the opening of the through hole (8) and the area of a horizontal cross-section of the steel wire (2) (the area of the opening of the through-hole (8) of the tube-shaped body (9)/the area of the horizontal cross-section of the steel wire (2)) is 3 to 4000.
