摘要: A resource assignment capability is presented. A resource specification associated with a plurality of elements is received. The resource specification includes, for each of the elements, a resource request including an indication of a quantity of resources requested by the element and a resource offer including an indication of a quantity of resources offered by the element for use by one or more other elements. A resource assignment, including an indication of an association between the resources requests and the resource offers, is determined using a resource assignment process. The resource assignment process may be a greedy assignment process or a maximum flow resource assignment process. The maximum flow resource assignment process includes constructing a maximum flow resource graph based on the one or more resource specifications and applying a maximum flow process to the maximum flow resource graph to determine thereby the resource assignment.

摘要: An apparatus and a method are provided. The solution includes controlling the reception of a signal; dividing the received signal into a predetermined number of signal streams including the same information; applying a linear process to each signal stream, the processes having different frequency characteristics for each stream; applying a shared interference rejection over the signal streams.

摘要: The present invention is related to an intermediate node, an end node, and method for avoiding latency in a packet-switched network.According to the invention, the maximum bandwidth per flow is determined locally and transferred from the sending node to the receiving node. At each node, the information is updated if a lower local value is computed. By adjusting the transmission rate based on the maximum bandwidth per flow receiving at the receiving node, the link capacity can be optimally utilized and congestion can be minimized.

摘要: Disclosed is apparatus configured: to create an advertising message including a packet data unit [PDU] including information identifying an application that may be installed on the apparatus and an indication that the PDU may include an application recommendation; and to cause the advertising message to be broadcast. Another apparatus is configured: to receive an advertising message including a packet data unit [PDU] including information identifying an application that may be installed on another apparatus and an indication that the PDU may include an application recommendation; and to use the information identifying an application to provide an option to install the application.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide methods and apparatuses of providing content data and accessing content data. The method for providing content data comprises: receiving a first request for content data, the first request being originated from a first user equipment and comprising an indication of the requested content data and an indication from where the requested content data is accessible; identifying a local equipment that is in proximity to the first user equipment and has pre-stored the requested content data; and returning a first response directed to the first user equipment, by which the first user equipment is informed to access the requested content data from the local equipment via a first device-to-device communication with the local equipment. With the proposed solutions, network loads can be reduced.

摘要: A method for monitoring browsers (B) for a communications network (N), wherein a monitoring server contains a set of monitoring elements, and implements: ⋅—a step (E1) of receiving a monitoring element request from a browser (B), ⋅—a step (E2) of determining whether the request is a first request from the browser, ⋅—if so, a step (E3) of calculating an identifier for the browser, then a step (4) of determining a cache duration value associated with each monitoring element of the set, and a step (E5) of transmitting the set of monitoring elements and associated values to the browser; ⋅—if not, a step (E6) of determining the browser's identifier based on the monitoring elements requested in the request.

摘要: A data block storage management capability is presented. A cloud file system management capability manages storage of data blocks of a file system across multiple cloud storage services (e.g., including determining, for each data block to be stored, a storage location and a storage duration for the data block). A cloud file system management capability manages movement of data blocks of a file system between storage volumes of cloud storage services. A cloud file system management capability provides a probabilistic eviction scheme for evicting data blocks from storage volumes of cloud storage services in advance of storage deadlines by which the data blocks are to be removed from the storage volumes. A cloud file system management capability enables dynamic adaptation of the storage volume sizes of the storage volumes of the cloud storage services.

摘要: A distributed collaborative offline charging system and method is provided. Charging is determined by receiving a reduced charging record at a charging control function. The reduced charging record includes a charging data subset and an index for charging parameters that are not included in reduced charging record. The charging control function retrieves the charging parameters that are not included in reduced charging record utilizing the index.
