    摘要: An apparatus for selectively enabling power including a power supply, and a device having a controller and an input activated by a user. The controller is selectively powered by the power supply. While the device is in a sleep state, a sensing circuit senses activation of the input by the user and enables the power supply to provide power to the controller in response to the sensed activation of the input by the user. A latch circuit causes the power supply to continue to provide power to the controller. The controller is responsive to the sensed activation of the input by the user for enabling the latch circuit and for disabling the latch circuit, thereby reentering the device into a sleep state.

    摘要: An electrosurgical generator is disclosed. The generator includes an RF output stage configured to generate a sinusoidal waveform for a selected electrosurgical mode. The RF output stage includes first and second connections, the first connection including a first switching component and a first parallel inductor-capacitor resonant circuit and the second connection including a second switching component and a second parallel inductor-capacitor resonant circuit. The first parallel inductor-capacitor resonant circuit is configured to produce a first half-sinusoidal waveform and the second parallel inductor-capacitor resonant circuit is configured to produce a second half-sinusoidal waveform. The first and second switching components are in a 180 degree out-of-phase relationship and are configured to operate at a predetermined frequency based on a phase-correlated dual drive signal.

    摘要: A thermometry assembly includes a thermometer and a mount for mounting the thermometer on a wall or other support structure. The thermometry assembly has an anti-theft system for deterring theft of the thermometer. The anti-theft system generally includes a counter that counts the number of uses of the thermometer during a period beginning from the time the thermometer was last on the mount. A microcontroller of the thermometer is programmed to disable further operation of the thermometer when a threshold number has been reached or exceeded by the counter. The counter is reset when the thermometer is returned to the mount. The anti-theft system includes a solid-state sensor that is activated by a magnet in the mount. The sensor signals to the microcontroller to reset the counter when it is activated by the magnet.
