摘要： A display package for a blanket comprises a bag formed of flexible sheet material, the bag comprising a tubular side wall having a first end and an opposite second end and a bottom wall joined to the first end of the tubular side wall so as to close the first end, the second end of the tubular side wall being open to allow a consumer to feel a blanket contained in the bag. At least one handle is bridged across the open second end to allow the display package to be carried by the handle as well as to hinder removal of the blanket through the open second end. The bag defines an opening proximate the closed first end, a releasable fastening system being arranged at the opening and being selectively engageable to close the opening and disengageable to open the opening for insertion and removal of a blanket therethrough.

摘要： A method for dyeing fibrous material is provided. The method includes contacting a fibrous material with a dyebath comprising a mixture of a dye assistant and a dye soluble or dispersed with the dye assistant in the dyebath. The dye assistant comprises a N-alkyl substituted aromatic sulfonamide. The dye assistant of the present invention can be advantageously utilized for dyeing difficult to dye fibers such as aromatic polyamide fibers, polybenzimidazole fibers and aromatic polyimide fibers.

摘要： A fire-resistant fabric suitable for use as a flame barrier comprising a flame durable textile fabric substrate formed of corespun yarns, the yarns comprising a core of flame resistant filament and a sheath of staple fibers, and an intumescent coating carried by one surface of the textile fabric substrate. In normal use, the fabric is flexible and conformable and has good air porosity. When exposed to high temperature and/or a flame, however, the intumescent coating reacts and swells to form a char which closes the pores or interstices of the fabric to thus prevent flame or hot gases from penetrating therethrough.

摘要： The mattress pad and fitted bed sheet (31) are formed by placing equal lengths of mattress pad material (58) and bed sheet material (61) in overlying relationship and sewing the narrower mattress pad material at its side edges to the sheet material. The combined work product is then cut to length, the end portions folded over, and the corners bevelled and sewn together. An elastic tape (48, 49) is applied to each end of the work product so as to draw the mattress pad and fitted bed sheet about the mattress. The structure enables the mattress pad and fitted bed sheet to stay in proper position even when applied to a foldable mattress (24) of a sofa bed (20), when the mattress is folded into its hidden position inside the sofa bed.

摘要： Textile materials containing cellulosic fibers are provided with durable press properties by reacting and crosslinking the cellulosic fibers with a durable press finishing agent consisting essentially of a silicone compound and a silicone fragmentation reactant in an effective amount to fragment the silicone compound when exposed to curing conditions. The fabric is impregnated with a finishing bath containing the durable press finishing agent and the fabric is heated to fragment the silicone compound and react and crosslink the finishing agent with the cellulosic fibers to impart durable press properties to the fabric.

摘要： An improved anvil construction, for use in an ultrasonic apparatus for edge cutting and sealing moving lengths of at least partially thermoplastic material, particularly textile fabric having at least some thermoplastic fibers, and including a vibrating sonic horn cooperating with and vibrating against the anvil for such ultrasonic edge cutting and sealing as the material moves between the sonic horn and the anvil. The anvil includes a peaked cutting edge and first and second surfaces extending in respective opposite directions from the cutting edge and is characterized by being adjustable to positions for effecting clean and sharp edge cutting and desired amounts of edge sealing in the material while resisting wear on the anvil. Such adjustment is in the form of pivotal movement of an anvil member to adjust the acuteness of the included angles of first and second surfaces extending from the cutting edge of the anvil and in the form of timed rotation of an anvil wheel member so that a fresh portion of the cutting edge thereof may be positioned for contact by the sonic horn when wear occurs on such cutting edge.

摘要： A display and carrying package is provided which is particularly adapted for displaying and carrying a bedding ensemble, but which could be used for displaying and carrying any ensemble of products of different sizes. The package is in the form of a closed flexible bag, preferably box-shaped, having generally flat transparent front and rear walls and, preferably, having non-transparent side and top walls connected thereto. The bag preferably includes a zipper for closing and opening the bag to provide access to the interior of the bag.
