    摘要: In an aspect, a toy figurine for displaying an animated light pattern includes a main body, a plurality of light-emitting elements inside, and a controller. The light-emitting elements, when unilluminated, are invisible to a user outside the main body, and, when illuminated, are invisible to the user but emit light that is visible through a window of the main body. The controller is programmed to: a) illuminate a first light-emitting element at a first element illumination rate so as to emit first light through the window, b) illuminate a second light-emitting element at a second element illumination rate so as to emit through the light-diffusive window, second light which overlaps with the first light, and c) after step b) has begun, deilluminate the first light-emitting element at a first selected deillumination rate, so as to generate an appearance of light that travels along the window.

    摘要: In an aspect, a decoupler is provided and includes an input member, an output member, a one-way clutch and an isolation spring. The one-way clutch receives torque from the input member. The isolation spring is helical, having a first helical end and a second helical end, and has first and second axial ends, and radially outer and inner surfaces. The isolation spring receives torque from the clutch, and transmits torque to the output member. The isolation spring changes size radially based on torque. The input member includes a radial projection that is positioned to frictionally engage one of the radially outer and inner surfaces of the spring when the spring reaches a selected size. Frictional engagement of the radial projection with the spring generates torque transfer directly from the input member to the spring in parallel with torque transfer from the input member to the spring through the clutch.

    摘要: In an aspect, a decoupler is provided for mounting to a shaft in an accessory drive between an engine and an accessory in a vehicle. The decoupler includes a pulley, a hub, a wrap spring clutch, an isolation spring, and a carrier that is positioned to hold an end of the wrap spring clutch and an end of the isolation spring. The carrier has a slot for holding the end of the wrap spring clutch and wherein the slot has a slot exit through which the wrap spring clutch exits from the slot to wrap around an exterior of the carrier. The carrier has a bridge configured to fail before the end wall fails. This permits the carrier to open radially so as to bring the end wall into abutment with a wall of the pulley reducing stress in the end wall.

    摘要: A microwave plasma torch and a method of use thereof is provided. The microwave plasma torch includes a torch housing, a microwave generator, at least one conductive rod, and a waveguide housing. The torch housing includes an outlet and at least one inlet that is positioned for injecting at least one plasma-forming gas. The conical chamber section within the torch chamber is shaped to accelerate the flow of the plasma-forming gas and produce a vortex flow pattern. The microwave generator produces a microwave signal and an electromagnetic field which is directed to the torch chamber by the waveguide housing. The at least one conductive rod is energized for applying a charge to the plasma-forming gas and generating a plurality of plasma streamers. The generated plasma streamers further ionize the plasma-forming gas to generate a plasma stream.

    摘要: A method for processing a data packet at a node in a Bluetooth Mesh network, comprising: (a) determining a one-hop device cache list of the node, wherein the one-hop device cache list comprises an address of one or more one-hop nodes; (b) when the node sends a data packet, checking whether a destination address of the data packet is the same as an address stored in the one-hop device cache list; if yes, setting a TTL value of the data packet to 0 and sending the data packet; otherwise, setting the TTL value of the data packet to be greater than a specified TTL threshold, and sending the data packet; and (c) when the node forwards a data packet, checking whether the destination address of the data packet is the same as an address stored in the one-hop device cache list; if yes, setting the TTL value of the data packet to 1 and forwarding the data packet; otherwise, deducting the TTL value of the data packet by 1 and forwarding the data packet. According to the present disclosure, the problem of signal interference in a dense Bluetooth Mesh network may be significantly reduced.
