摘要： An improved oscillation scan mirror assembly comprises a shaft, a holder having a bearing with a bearing surface supporting the holder on the shaft, a scan mirror secured to the holder. The holder and therefore the mirror are oscillatable around the shaft under an oscillating driving force, and bearing and the shaft is prevented from being tilt from each other. Preferably, a lateral retaining force is provided to constantly keep the bearing and the shaft in an aligned contact with each other. Since the relative tilting between bearing and the shaft is prevented, the vertical wobble or vibration of bearing, and therefore of the holder and the mirror, relative to the shaft is therefore suppressed.

摘要： Methods and apparatus provide for associating memory allocation table (MAT) entries with nodes in a binary tree such that the nodes and the entries are grouped into hierarchical levels, each entry including status information; associating the nodes and the entries with segments of a shared memory of a multi-processor system such that higher level nodes and entries are associated with larger numbers of segments of the shared memory and lower level nodes and entries are associated with smaller numbers of segments of the shared memory; initializing the MAT such that the status information of at least a plurality of entries indicates that the associated segment or segments of the shared memory are available for reservation; and selecting one entry in a group of entries in the MAT at a level corresponding to a desired size of the shared memory to be reserved.

摘要： A method and system used in the barcode sensing process are disclosed, in which at least two instances of an optical signal are obtained from the same barcode in different time periods, and digitized by a first digitizer with a first threshold. The digitized results from the at least two instances are then applied with an AND algorithm to eliminate the noise, whereby create a correct digitized output. Preferably, the instances of the signal are also digitized by a second digitizer with a second threshold, which are used to synchronize the timing of the digitized results created by the first digitizer. The second threshold is preferably larger than the first threshold.
