摘要: The present disclosure relates to telephone jack covering systems that advantageously render existing telephone jacks more attractive and useful. The systems disclosed include a novel bracket that allows for existing telephone jacks to be covered with decorative and functional devices. In a preferred embodiment, an existing telephone jack is outfitted with a bracket and covered with a converter device that converts the existing telephone jack into a smart device charging station. In yet another preferred embodiment, an existing telephone jack is outfitted with a bracket and covered by a functional masking device that functions as a panic button in case of an emergency.

摘要: A system and method for providing an automated motor vehicle notifications and services system obtains photograph of a vehicle license plate for a violating vehicle, accepts input defining a violation associated with the violating vehicle to generate an electronic parking ticket, transmits the photograph and the electronic parking ticket to a web-based computing system associated with a parking authority, when the license plate indicates an out of state vehicle registration, obtains an online address associated with a state motor vehicle authority in a state matching the license plate, transmits the photograph and electronic ticket to the appropriate state motor vehicle authority, verifies the license plate matches the violating vehicle, when the license plate does not match the violating vehicle, notifies a responsible agent to dispatch a tow truck to remove the violating vehicle, and transmits the photograph and the electronic parking ticket to a web-based driver notification computing system instructing the driver notification computing system to serve notice of the electronic ticket on an owner of the violating vehicle.

摘要: This is a novel magnetic configuration that is to be used to build extra efficient PM motors. This magnetic configuration uses mono polarities of permanent magnet as field-poles instead of dipolar field-poles configuration. Armature teeth are built, energized and used very differently in this magnetic configuration. This configuration revitalizes repulsive force three times inside a running PM motor without using more than usual current. Revitalized repulsive force allows using very strong permanent magnets, which produces heavy attractive force in the same running motor. The revitalized repulsive force along with the heavy attractive force produces extra output power in the motor at no-cost. This magnetic configuration is self-sufficient and unparalleled. It could only be implanted in new designs of PM motors. This magnetic configuration has been built around new experimental findings. The functions of three newly invented electrical machines including a fully-functional prototype validate this magnetic configuration.

摘要: A device and a method for measuring a thermal load caused by energy transfer upconversion in a laser gain crystal. Increasing the pump power multiple times so that the power meter obtains multiple thresholds for a single-frequency laser; obtaining an average pump threshold of the output laser; obtaining cavity parameters of the single-frequency laser; obtaining thermal focal lengths on the tangential and sagittal planes of the laser gain crystal inside the single-frequency laser; obtaining individual ABCD matrices of the laser system on the tangential and the sagittal planes; obtaining a thermal load at the threshold based on the ABCD transfer matrix of the laser gain crystal on the tangential plane, the ABCD transfer matrix of the laser gain crystal on the sagittal plane, and the average pump threshold of the laser system; obtaining a thermal load caused by ETU at threshold based on the thermal load at the threshold.
