摘要: A device is provided. The device includes a first Pancharatnam-Berry phase (“PBP”) lens, and a second PBP lens stacked with the first PBP lens. Each of the first PBP lens and the second PBP lens includes a liquid crystal (“LC”) layer. Each side of the LC layer is provided with a continuous electrode and a plurality of patterned electrodes. The patterned electrodes in the first PBP lens are arranged non-parallel to the patterned electrodes in the second PBP lens.

摘要: An atomization generating device includes a main body and a cartridge having an exterior housing and a bottom base. The exterior housing includes an opening at a lower portion, an air outlet at a top portion, and an open hole at a side wall. The bottom base is mounted at the opening of the lower portion of the exterior housing. An upper portion of the bottom base is provided with an atomizing core connected with the air outlet through a vapor channel. An upper portion of the main body includes a receiving chamber for receiving the cartridge. The receiving chamber includes an air inlet corresponding to the open hole. The bottom base includes an air guiding channel for guiding an external air into the atomizing core. An end of the air guiding channel is connected with the atomizing core, another end is connected with the air inlet and the open hole.

摘要: An optical element includes a first birefringent medium layer with orientations of directors of first optically anisotropic molecules spatially varying with a first in-plane pitch and a first vertical pitch. The optical element also includes a second birefringent medium layer with orientations of directors of second optically anisotropic molecules spatially varying with a second in-plane pitch and a second vertical pitch. The second birefringent medium layer is optically coupled with the first birefringent medium layer and configured to reduce a diffraction of a light by the first birefringent medium layer. The first in-plane pitch is substantially the same as the second in-plane pitch, and the second vertical pitch is smaller than the first vertical pitch.

摘要: Power conversion systems for converting thermal energy from a heat source to electricity are disclosed. In one exemplary embodiment, the power conversion system may include a substantially sealed chamber having an inner shroud having an inlet and an outlet and defining an internal passageway between the inlet and the outlet through which a working fluid passes. The sealed chamber may also include an outer shroud substantially surrounding the inner shroud, such that the working fluid exiting the outlet of the inner shroud returns to the inlet of the inner shroud in a closed-loop via a return passageway formed between an external surface of the inner shroud and an internal surface of the outer shroud. The power conversion system may further include a source heat exchanger disposed in the internal passageway of the inner shroud, the source heat exchanger being configured to at least partially receive a heat transmitting element.
