摘要: Contact lenses include three or four annular spherical or aspherical optical zones for improved bifocal vision with reduced glare and blurriness in which the boundaries of certain of the distance and near power zones are established in relationship to the user's pupil size at differing illuminations. 摘要: A water meter resetter incorporates as a principal component a plastic body having six fittings lying in a common plane. A primary inlet and primary outlet are coaxially aligned on first and second opposed walls. A secondary outlet and secondary inlet are coaxially aligned on the opposed walls. In use, a first horn is rotatably attached to the secondary outlet, and a second horn is rotatable attached to the secondary inlet. A water meter is attached between the horns. Because the horns are rotatable about a common axis at each of their ends, the meter can be offset from the supply pipes at continuously variable heights. In an embodiment, the secondary inlet and outlet are internal, and the horns are held in a fluid-tight slip joint formed by internal O-rings. The height of the meter may optionally be locked by the use of an angle holder.

摘要: In one embodiment, a card reader device includes: a read head configured to generate a signal indicative of data stored on a magnetic stripe of a card, an output plug, adapted to be inserted into a headset jack of a mobile host device, configured to communicate an output signal indicative of data stored on the magnetic stripe to a microphone input of the headset jack of the mobile host device; and circuitry configured to set the amplitude, which includes attenuation by at least a resistor, of a signal communicating said data included in the signal indicative of data stored on the magnetic stripe generated by the read head resulting in the output signal indicative of data stored on the magnetic stripe. In one embodiment, the circuitry includes decoding circuitry configured to decode the signal indicative of the data stored on the magnetic stripe.

摘要: A new and unique granular material-saving auger pan/hopper splash shield and safety guard is presented, being made of rigid, flexible, transparent or partially transparent material. The invention fits over the top of an auger pan/hopper, secured by a lower perimeter sleeve containing strap material and a locking or other securing device, and an upper perimeter sleeve containing elastic material and grommets where bungy cords (not part of the invention) can be hooked through and attached to the granular material source outlet. The auger pan/hopper splash shield and safety guard provides a containment shield to eliminate granular material spillage as well as preventing granular material loss due to moisture, outside contaminants, and damage. This invention may also be used as a safety device to prevent possible injury from the turning auger or conveyor belt and from flying granular materials.

摘要: The invention relates to a cooling system for a fuel cell, comprising a main heat-transfer-fluid circuit including a circulation pump (6) and a heat exchanger (8) with the exterior, which feed an upstream pipe (12) supplying the fluid to the cells (4) of the fuel cell, said fluid leaving the cells via a downstream pipe (14) in order to return to the main pump. The invention is characterized in that the main circuit comprises a three-port controlled valve (10, 16) on each upstream (12) and downstream (14) pipe, the third available port (10c) of the upstream pipe (12) being connected to the inlet of the pump (6) and the third available port (16c) of the downstream pipe (14) being connected to the outlet of the pump in order to establish a secondary fluid circuit.
