    摘要: Systems, devices, and methods that ensures that an ultrasonic fingerprint detection process is not interfered with by using a screen protector. An example screen protector for a mobile device is disclosed that is capable of an in-screen fingerprint detection. The screen protector includes a first layer made of a clear rigid material and configured to be touched by a user. The screen protector also includes a second layer beneath the first layer and made of a film. Additionally, the screen protector includes a third layer beneath the second layer and configured to contact the mobile device. The third layer includes a fingerprint conduit configured to facilitate the in-screen fingerprint detection.

    摘要: A system for providing safety to a hoist having a hook and a chain. The system includes a safety cable threaded through an opening of the hook or an object to be lifted. The system includes a connector connected to the safety cable and the chain such that when the hook and the chain of the hoist are disconnected, the object remains connected to the chain via the connector and safety cable. The connector includes a base portion having a chain opening configured to receive the chain, and a first cable opening configured to receive the safety cable. The connector includes a top portion configured to be coupled to the base portion and cover a portion of the chain opening such that the base portion and the top portion, when coupled together, remain at a substantially fixed position along the length of the chain.

The system includes an electronic parking brake variable switch configured to produce an application signal based on an amount or an amount of time the switch is pulled upward or pushed downward. The system also includes an indicator configured to indicate an amount of application of the parking brake based on the application signal. The system also includes an electronic brake unit coupled to the electronic parking brake variable switch. The electronic brake unit is configured to receive the application signal, and transmit a rear brake signal to a plurality of rear brake actuators to apply a plurality of rear brakes based on the application signal when a speed of the vehicle is below a threshold speed or the vehicle is in a low gear.

    摘要: An adjustable joint for insertion into a linkage of a substrate handler utilized for substrate processing. The adjustable joint allows for adjusting the pitch and roll of an attached link. Such adjustment may permit aligning a pickup surface of an end effector to a desired plane. Once adjusted, the joint may be fixed to maintain the desired orientation of the attached link. The adjustable joint allows for correcting deflection of a pickup surface of an end effector relative to a desired pickup plane due to, for example, drooping caused by high temperature usage, mechanical tolerances and/or installation errors.

    摘要: A method for performing an operation on an input signal includes receiving, by a multi-mode waveguide, the input signal imposed on laser light. The received input signal imposed on the laser light is propagated through the waveguide a plurality of times in a plurality of modes, the modes interfering each time they propagate through the waveguide to generate an interference pattern of the plurality of modes. Portions of the interference pattern of the plurality of modes are nonlinearly activated each time those modes propagate through the multi-mode waveguide. Portions of the activated interference pattern of the plurality of modes are output to an optical detector array in parallel with one another each time those modes propagate through the multi-mode waveguide.
