Disclosed are methods, systems and products, including a method that includes receiving, by at least one processor-based device, data relating to features of a computing system, generating, by the at least one processor-based device, a diagram including graphical data representative of, at least partly, the features of the computing system, including an order of release of at least some subsystems of the computing system and layered relationship information, and providing the generated diagram to a user interface for presentation.
Abstract:
Various embodiments of systems and methods for performing backup operation in In-memory database systems are described herein. The method includes receiving a request to create a backup of a data set from a main memory of the system. In response to the request, the data set is configured as read-only and a data structure having meta-data information identifying the blocks of data in the main memory that form the data set is invoked. A snapshot of the data structure is created and the data set is enabled for manipulation. Further, the method involves receiving a request to modify a block of data and copying the requested data block to a free memory block in the main memory. The data structure is updated by replacing the meta-data identifying the requested original data block with meta-data identifying the free memory block which holds a copy of the requested data block.
Abstract:
Systems and method for forecasting release times in a multisystem software development environment are disclosed. A forecast engine may analyze the system specific data for multiple systems in a particular transport chain of systems in the development environment to determine when object code should be released from a source system to reach a target system in time to be included in an event, such as a software build or quality assurance test. The system specific data may include event schedules for each system in the transport chain. By analyzing the system specific data and the transport chain, the forecast engine can generate a time by which object code needs to be released to traverse the transport chain so that it is available to the target system for a particular scheduled event.

The present invention relates to a method for selectively amplifying non-methylated sequences of a DNA comprising the steps of (i) providing a sample comprising a DNA which is methylated at least one site, (ii) treating the DNA in the sample with a methylation-dependent nuclease, and (iii) amplifying the DNA cut using the methylation-dependent nuclease. In addition, the invention relates to kits for use in the method according to the invention. The method according to the invention can be used for selectively preparing to (selectively accumulating) non-methylated sequence segments of genomic DNA and for analysing the global methylation pattern in genomic DNA.

The in-line repair operations in the automotive industry require high-temperature masking tapes which satisfy a particular profile of requirements. Hence such masking tapes must be temperature-stable and must have a high crosslinking potential. Masking tapes employed are tapes coated with thermally crosslinking natural rubber (NR) adhesives which have a crosslinker resin/phenolic resin component.Thermally reactive pressure-sensitive adhesives of this kind are prepared by a process comprising a non-thermoplastic rubber constituent of the pressure-sensitive adhesive and a crosslinker system, the crosslinker system comprising a promoter component and as crosslinking component a reactive phenolic resin, where, in the process, the rubber constituent and a first component of the crosslinker system are mixed homogeneously in a mixing assembly, at a first processing temperature of the mixing assembly, to give a premix, a premix temperature being established in the premix; subsequently the premix is cooled from the premix temperature to a final composition temperature which is lower than the first premix temperature; and lastly the second component of the crosslinker system is added to the premix.

A method for producing printing stencils, especially for screen printing methods, and particularly those for use in filling at least one contact hole formed in a printed-circuit board, a pattern artwork being reproduced on the stencil, which corresponds to an arrangement of contact holes on the printed-circuit board. It is provided that the pattern artwork reproduced on the stencil be produced in the same working process, especially a punching process, using a cluster punching tool, as the at least one contact hole on the printed-circuit board. Also, a stencil device is provided.

A gate valve for a vacuum chamber comprises two carriers (5a) each connected to a frame structure providing an essentially plane front by two parallel links (6) and to an actuating rod (12a) by parallel levers (14). Upward motion of the actuating rods (12a) by a piston (17) causes, via the levers (14), upward motion of the carriers (5a) which is transformed into a circular motion by the links (6) where the carriers (5a) at the same time approach the front while remaining parallel to it, moving sealing plates (9) which are fixed to the carriers (5a) to an active position where they press against the front and seal openings (3) therein. Retraction of the piston (17) effects an inverse motion, whereby the sealing plates (9) are completely removed from the openings (3) and the latter made easily accessible.

A method and a system for the propagation of a message in a radio-operated communication network having a base unit and a plurality of members, wherein the base unit and the members each includes a transmitter and a receiver, the receiver being activated at cyclical switch-on times for a certain respective receiving period. A message to be sent from a member to the base unit is transmitted by the member to at least one adjacent member as a function of at least one rule, and the message is transmitted by the at least one adjacent member, according to the at least one rule, to at least one member adjacent thereto, in the direction of the base unit. The process is repeated such that the message is transmitted from at least one adjacent member receiving the message according to the at least one rule to at least one member adjacent thereto, in the direction of the base unit. The message is transmitted from the at least one member that is adjacent to the base unit to at least the base unit.
