Abstract:
A method of completing work projects within a company is provided. The steps include posting information about a project by a project requestor. Project managers place bids on the project and are accepted by the project requestor to perform the project. The project managers then post information about tasks required to complete the project. Project workers bid on the individual tasks and are accepted by the project manager. The tasks are then completed by the project workers and consolidated by the project managers. The completed project is provided to the project requestor and the project requestor provides the completed project to a client of the company.
Abstract:
A system and method for facilitating accessing data. An example method includes showing a first portion of a display screen, which is adapted to display digital content; illustrating one or more user interface gauges via a second portion of the display screen; and providing a first user option to adjust content displayed via the one or more user interface gauges. In a specific embodiment, the method further includes providing a second user option to control or specify movement of the one or more gauges across the display screen, and providing a third user option to specify a scrolling motion of one or more gauges along a predetermined path.
Abstract:
A system and method of providing an online marketplace for healthcare services is provided. The present invention displays a plurality of names of doctors on an appointment scheduling platform. Each of the names of doctors has a cost for an initial appointment. The appointment scheduling platform is viewable by at least one customer. The customer selects one of the names of the doctors on the appointment scheduling platform, thereby scheduling an appointment with a doctor. The doctor provides a recommended test. The customer may then select a cost for the recommended test. A plurality of test costs for the recommended test is displayed on a testing platform. The testing platform is viewable by the customer. The customer selects one of the costs for the recommended test on the testing platform. The customer pays the cost and is tested.
Abstract:
A method, computer system, and graphical user interface for presenting an interactive hierarchy and indicating entry of information therein is disclosed. An interactive hierarchy is used to organize information using nodes arranged in multiple levels, where the interactive hierarchy may also be used to select a node to operate on. The interactive hierarchy may provide sense-of-place by depicting the organization of the nodes and indicating which node a user is operating on. An indicator is also provided which indicates whether one or more types of information have been entered for a given node, level of nodes, etc., thereby providing sense-of-task by enabling a user to determine which types of information have already been entered, which types of information have yet to be entered, etc. Further, a task indicator may be provided for stepping users through various information entry and/or management tasks, thereby further improving sense-of-task.
Abstract:
The present invention relates generally to the construction of sub-genomic HCV replicon systems that may provide the foundation for generating HCV replicons of all six major genotypes and subtypes to facilitate screening, testing, and evaluating anti-infective agents for HCV disease(s).
