    摘要: To classify moving images using audio signals. An audio signal is acquired, a section feature relating to an audio frequency distribution is extracted with respect to each of a plurality of sections each having a predetermined length contained in the acquired audio signal, each extracted section feature is compared with each of reference section features to calculate a section similarity indicating a degree of correlation between each section feature and each reference section feature. An integrated feature relating to the plurality of sections and being calculated based on the section similarity calculated with respect to each of the plurality of sections is extracted from the acquired audio signal. The extracted integrated feature is compared with each of one or more reference integrated features, and the audio signal is classified based on comparison result. Then, classification result is used for moving image classification.

The data processing device stores therein model data pieces each indicating detection counts of feature amounts; judges, for each target data piece, whether the target data piece is a non-categorization data piece including an uncategorizable object, using the model data pieces and the detection count of each of at least two feature amounts detected in the target data piece; when, as a result of the judgment, two or more of the target data pieces are judged to be non-categorization data pieces, specifies at least two feature amounts that are each included, and detected the same number of times, in a predetermined number or more of the non-categorization data pieces, and newly creates a model data piece based on the at least two feature amounts that have been specified, using a class creation method, and stores the model data piece into the storage unit.

    摘要: In a rendering device, a processor derives an estimated path to be traced by the left- and right-rear wheels of a vehicle based on a rudder angle that is provided by a rudder angle sensor. The processor then determines positions for overlaying indicators on the derived estimated path. The processor then renders the indicators on the determined points in a captured image which is provided by an image capture device, and generates a display image. In the display image, the indicators move along the estimated path in the direction the vehicle is heading towards. In this manner, the estimated path in the display image that is generated by the rendering device becomes noticeable for a driver of the vehicle.
