摘要: The present invention relates to a method for determination of one or more shift points for a gearbox in a motor vehicle which comprises an engine connected to, in order to drive, said gearbox, where a shift point represents an engine speed at which said gearbox is adapted to effecting a downshift or upshift, said one or more shift points are determined on the basis of an engine target speed ωT and a first engine speed difference ΔωTT, said target speed ωT is a desired speed for said engine, said first engine speed difference ΔωTT is a difference between a first engine speed at a first time t1 and said target speed ωT at a second time t2, and said first and second times t1 and t2 are separated by a time period T. The invention relates also to a system, a motor vehicle, a computer program and a computer program product thereof.

摘要: A method for temporarily preventing automatic gear shifting in a vehicle, comprising the steps of: preventing gear shifting as long as a traction control system indicates that at least one driven wheel is spinning, calculating a vehicle acceleration, calculating a value of a derivative of the acceleration or a value indicative of a difference between the vehicle acceleration and a previously calculated vehicle acceleration, and preventing gear shifting for a predetermined time, if the value is equal or higher than a predetermined value. A system, a computer program, a computer program product and an electronic control unit for performing the method are also disclosed.

摘要: A system and method in a wireless communications environment maximizes voice quality in low capacity situations. A Mobile services Switching Centre (MSC) that is associated with a base station of a cell is capable of assigning speech calls of mobile terminals to either a full-rate (FR) or a half-rate (HR) channel. The FR channels provide better transmitted voice quality but consume twice the bandwidth (two time slots versus only one for HR channels). When occupied cell capacity is low, an MSC assigns connections to FR channels. After occupied cell capacity reaches a predetermined threshold value, the MSC assigns connections to HR channels whenever possible. Also, handover procedures can reclaim available capacity by switching a connection from a FR to a HR channel. The superior voice quality of the FR channels are therefore provided to mobile terminal users more often.

The numbers of gear steps N is the number of downshifts or the number of upshifts which the gearbox effects at an upshift point or a downshift point. A downshift point represents a first engine speed at which the gearbox effects a downshift. An upshift point represents a second engine speed at which the gearbox effects an upshift. The numbers of gear steps N are determined on the basis of a predicted acceleration a for the motor vehicle during a time period T. The first parameter RF is determined on the basis of a difference between a first motive force FMax and a second motive force FDr. The first motive force FMax is a maximum motive force available for the vehicle (1) at a current transmission ratio. The second motive force FDr is a current running resistance for the vehicle (1). There is a use of such a parameter. A computer program, a computer program product, a system and a motor vehicle related to such a parameter are disclosed.
