Abstract:
A spherical dialysis chamber with a heavier cap (the density of cap material is higher than that of the dialyzer) or the distribution of weight is such that it is higher weight distribution is towards the cap, so that it tilts always towards the bottom of the container containing the dialysis buffer.
Abstract:
In this invention we describe a magnet or magnetic material that is attached to a pipette to hang it on a ferrous or magnetic material. The magnet can be attached to any place on the pipette in such a way that the pipette can be hung as desired on the magnetic or ferrous surface such as ferrous clips, iron or steel sheets (refrigerator, lab bench, hood etc.). This will help to organize the laboratories. Furthermore this will reduce the contamination from pipette to pipette and sample to sample.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a novel device for small sample preparation using tubes and columns, such as capillaries or pipette tips, in which particles of a separation medium, such as particles of a chromatography material used for sample preparation, are directly embedded in the solid material composing the tubes or columns. Most small sample preparation methods currently available cannot prevent sample loss and they are not well suited for small sample volumes. The present invention minimizes sample loss and is well suited for samples with volumes in nanoliters. In the invention described herein, the desired sample, such as a sample composed of biomolecules, is brought in contact with particles of the separation medium embedded on the surface of the device comprised of tubes and columns, according to the present invention. The sample is separated, analyzed, purified or prepared for further analysis as the sample components come in contact with the separation medium embedded in the tubes or columns, according to the present invention. The tubes or columns described in the present invention can be capillaries, pipette tips, combinations thereof, or any other devices suited for the preparation and analysis of small samples with volumes from nanoliters to hundreds of milliliters. The present invention also describes a method for making tubes or columns that have particles of separation media embedded on their surface for sample preparation applications.

The present disclosure is related to hybrid capacitors specifically to PbO2/Activated Carbon hybrid capacitors. The hybrid super capacitor of the present disclosure is simple to assemble, bereft of impurities and can be fast charged/discharged with high faradiac-efficiency.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a process for the preparation of sol-gel modified alternative Nafion-Silica composite membrane useful for polymer electrolyte fuel cell. The said composite membrane is made by embedding silica particles in perfluorosulfonic acid ionomer by a process that circumvents the use of added acid while using acidic characteristics of Nafion and polymerization reaction through a sol-gel route. The composite membrane has high affinity for water with capability to exchange protons. The approach may be used to manufacture polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells operating at elevated temperatures under near-zero humidity.

Abstract:
The present invention provides an alternate proton conducting polymer electrolyte membrane and a process for the preparation thereof. More particularly the present invention provides a conducting hybrid polymer electrolyte membrane comprising a stable host polymer and a proton-conducting medium as a guest polymer for its suitability in PEM-based fuel cells. The present invention deals with host polymer, comprising a group of poly (vinyl alcohol), poly (vinyl fluoride), polyethylene oxide, polyethyleneimine, polyethylene glycol, cellulose acetate, polyvinylmethylethyl ether, more preferably polyvinyl alcohol and a guest polymer comprising poly(styrene sulfonic acid), poly(acrylic acid), sulfonated phenolic, polyacrylonitrile, polymethyl acrylate, and quaternary ammonium salt, more preferably poly(styrene sulfonic acid).
