Abstract:
The invention provides a colored golf ball composed of a core, a cover having a plurality of dimples formed on an outside surface thereof, and an inside layer in contact with the cover. The ball satisfies the following conditions: (i) a color difference ΔE* between the inside layer and the ball of at least 30; (ii) the inside layer has a lightness L* value, expressed in the L*a*b* color system based on JIS Z8729, of at least 82; (iii) the ball has a lightness L* value of at least 50; (iv) the lightness L* value of the ball≦the lightness value of the inside layer; (v) the inside layer has a transparency which is up to 10% in terms of total transmittance and up to 1.0% in terms of parallel transmittance; (vi) the cover has a transparency which is at least 50% in terms of total transmittance and at least 1.0% in terms of parallel transmittance; and (vii) the inside layer has a haze (H), mentioned in JIS K7105 (1981), of at least 90. The colored golf ball of the invention is a fluorescent ball, yet retains a sense of transparency and thus confers a sense of quality. The ball also has weather resistance and is able to prevent changes in color. Moreover, the golf ball of the invention has a reassuring and psychologically calming effect on the golfer during play, and has a suitable look and feel.

There is provided a shift device of which visibility and operability is excellent. The shift device 1 includes a shift lever 5 which operates a gear position of a transmission. The shift lever is arranged in an area R1 of an instrumental panel 11 which is outside of a steering wheel 20 and upper than the center axis O of the steering wheel 20 from the viewpoint of the driver and protruding toward the driver. A center part of the steering wheel 20 is provided with an air bag system, and the shift lever 5 is arranged in an expansion area of an air bag of the air bag system from the viewpoint of the driver.
Abstract:
A bicycle shift controller is provided with two independently operable levers that are operatively coupled to a cable take up member disposed in a base member configured to be mounted to a handlebar. The cable take up member rotates about a rotational axis for winding and releasing a control cable in response to pivotal movement of the levers. A first one of the levers has a first operating portion with a first operating surface and a second operating portion with a second operating surface. The second operating surface is angularly offset from the first operating surface about a first lever pivot axis of the first lever. The first and second levers pivot from a rest position to a shift position for rotating the cable take up member in opposite directions.
Abstract:
A gearshift device includes a gearshift lever adapted to move a plurality of gear selection positions, and a gear selection position detecting unit which detects a gear selection position. The gear selection position detecting unit has a magnet plate disposed at a lower end portion of the gearshift lever and movable in accordance with a movement of the gearshift lever and primary magnetic sensors and at least one secondary magnetic sensor, which are disposed so as to oppose to the magnet plate in a non-contact fashion at predetermined positions based on the individual gear selection positions. The primary magnetic sensor detects magnetic flux density and outputs ON/OFF signals in accordance with intensity of the detected magnetic flux density The secondary magnetic sensor detects magnetic flux density and outputs an output value according to the detected magnitude of the magnetic flux density.
Abstract:
A continous mixing apparatus has an upper rotary disk and a lower rotary disk able to rotate independently of one another. A plurality of scrapers are attached to the upper and lower sides of the upper and lower rotary disks. Scrapers on the lower side of the lower rotary disk have a notch enabling the scrapers to pass over a lower ring plate in the mixer. Material to be mixed is supplied to an upper portion of the mixer, and the product is discharged from a lower portion of the mixer. The device is constructed to enable any subsequently replenished liquids to not rise to the top of the mixing apparatus. The device produces a mixture that is uniform, highly stable, and that has a small particle size or a low viscosity which can be manufactured quickly.
Abstract:
A hot-dip Zn—Al—Mg plated steel sheet good in corrosion resistance and surface appearance that is a hot-dip Zn-base plated steel sheet obtained by forming on a surface of a steel sheet a hot-dip Zn—Al—Mg plating layer composed of Al: 4.0-10 wt. %, Mg: 1.0-4.0 wt. % and the balance of Zn and unavoidable impurities, the plating layer having a metallic structure including a primary crystal Al phase or a primary crystal Al phase and a Zn single phase in a matrix of Al/Zn/Zn2Mg ternary eutectic structure. To obtain a plating layer possessing this metallic structure, the cooling rate of the plating layer adhering to a steel strip extracted from a plating bath and the plating bath temperature are appropriately controlled in a continuous hot-dip plating machine and/or appropriate amounts of Ti and B are added to the bath. Occurrence of a stripe pattern peculiar to this plated steel sheet is controlled by morphology control of a Mg-containing oxide film up to solidification of the plating layer or by adding an appropriate amount of Be to the plating bath.

A liquid jetting apparatus has a concave casing having an opened flat face, and a piezoelectric drive element for at least partly sealing the opened flat face to form a liquid reservoir to store a liquid, such as ink. The reservoir has a liquid injection port for injecting a liquid and a liquid jet port for jetting the stored liquid. The piezoelectric drive element is directly bonded to the open flat face.

A golf ball of the present invention includes: a core located in the center of the golf ball; a cover surrounding the outside of the core and having plural dimples on the surface thereof; and a paint layer surrounding the outside of the cover. The paint layer is formed of a material having rubber elasticity. When the golf ball has a μ hardness and the paint layer has a JIS-C hardness, a ratio Sp of the JIS-C hardness of the paint layer with respect to the μ hardness of the golf ball is at most approximately 15. When the cover has a Shore D hardness, a ratio Sc of the Shore D hardness of the cover with respect to the μ hardness of the golf ball may be at most approximately 25.

Abstract:
A bicycle drive apparatus includes a bicycle crankset, a bicycle transmission, a drive assistance electric motor and a microcomputer. The microcomputer includes an output control section. The output control section has a first control and a second control that makes an output of the drive assistance electric motor smaller than an output of the drive assistance electric motor occurring during the first control only upon determining a crank arm of the bicycle crankset is positioned within a prescribed range of at least one of a top dead center position and a bottom dead center position of the bicycle crankset. The output control section is configured to vary the output of the drive assistance electric motor according to a pedaling force. The output control section switches from the first control to the second control upon receiving a shift command to shift the transmission.
