    Abstract: A method for transporting a viscous fluid through a heat exchanger line that includes transporting a viscous fluid through a connecting piece with an excess pressure release component, where the excess pressure relief component separates an interior of the connecting piece from a discharge line in the connecting piece, and is fixed to an edge of the discharge line, mixing a fluid flow in a region of the excess pressure relief component using a mixing element disposed in the interior of the connecting piece and causing the excess pressure release component to release at least a portion of the fluid through the discharge line when the pressure of the fluid is equal to or greater than a preset excess pressure.

    Abstract: A pipe is provided for transporting a viscous fluid, including a pressure relief valve provided with a sealing element which separates the inside of the pipe from a discharge line and is designed to release the discharge line in the event of predetermined excess pressure. A surface of the sealing element, facing a Miler chamber of the pipe, is associated with the pipe in such a manner that the surface is flown around by a flow of the viscous fluid circulating through the pipe when in operation, and the sealing element is fixed in the closed position by a rod, the rod being displaced by the predetermined excess pressure such that the thus connected sealing element releases the discharge pipe.

    Abstract: A thin-film treatment apparatus for treating viscous material includes

    a process housing oriented at an incline of at most 20° with a heatable and/or coolable housing casing, which surrounds a housing interior forming a material treatment space,
    an inlet nozzle arranged in an inlet zone of the process housing to introduce the material to be treated into the material treatment space,
    an outlet nozzle arranged in an outlet zone of the process housing to discharge the treated material from the material treatment space, and
    a drivable rotor shaft arranged in the material treatment space and extending coaxially for producing a material film on the inner surface of the housing casing and for conveying the material in the direction of an outlet zone.
