Abstract: A thin-film treatment apparatus for treating viscous material includes
a process housing oriented at an incline of at most 20° with a heatable and/or coolable housing casing, which surrounds a housing interior forming a material treatment space,
an inlet nozzle arranged in an inlet zone of the process housing to introduce the material to be treated into the material treatment space,
an outlet nozzle arranged in an outlet zone of the process housing to discharge the treated material from the material treatment space, and
a drivable rotor shaft arranged in the material treatment space and extending coaxially for producing a material film on the inner surface of the housing casing and for conveying the material in the direction of an outlet zone.
The rotor shaft includes at least one lift element arranged on the rotor shaft body, for producing a lifting force in the direction of the rotating rotor shaft body.-

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a lyocell material with controlled whiteness by hydrogen peroxide treatment and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the lyocell material has improved whiteness due to an aging effect through drying and packaging by a predetermined amount of hydrogen peroxide remaining in a tow, and may replace a CA cigarette filter to lower environmental pollution problems caused by discarded cigarette butts, and thus the lyocell material is suitable as a cigarette filter.

Abstract: The present subject matter discloses a fabric weaving method and apparatus therefor, wherein the method includes forming a fabric where the warp ends of the fabric is made of multifilament polyester yarns and the weft picks are made of cotton or regenerated cellulose fiber or linen fiber or a combination thereof. The woven textile fabric has 50-160 EPI of multifilament polyester yarns of denier within a range of 75D-200D with 7-250 filaments in each polyester yarn, wherein one or more yarns per dent is setup in the reed apparatus of the warp of the loom apparatus. Further, the woven textile fabric comprises of 50-91 picks per inch of cotton or regenerated cellulose fibre or linen fiber or a combination thereof and of 20-50 count (NE). Furthermore, the total cover factor of the woven textile fabric is 10-38, wherein the warp cover factor is 8-19 and the weft cover factor is 10-19.

Abstract: A method is provided for producing solid cellulose filaments or films from a solution of cellulose, NMMO (N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide) and water, including pressure-extruding the solution by one or more extrusion openings and by solidifying the filaments or films in a precipitation bath. The solution is guided between the extrusion opening and the precipitation bath by an air gap, the temperature of the solution on the extrusion opening being lower than 105° C. and the pressure difference in the air gap between the pressure of the solution immediately prior to extrusion and after extrusion is between 8 and 40 bar.

Abstract: Flame resistant fabrics are formed by warp and fill yams having different fiber contents. The fabrics are constructed, for example, by selection of a suitable weaving pattern, such that the body side of the fabric and the face side of the fabric have different properties. The fabrics described herein can be printable and dyeable on both sides of the fabric and are suitable for use in military and industrial garments. Methods of forming flame resistant fabrics, and methods for forming garments from the fabrics, are also described.

Abstract: Silk woven fabric is known and renowned for its touch. The drawback of silk, however, is its price, its poor washability, and low resistance against certain chemical treatments. It is therefore the object of the invention to provide a silk-like woven fabric which overcomes these problems. According to the invention, this problem is solved by providing a silk-like woven fabric (2) made from weft yarns (4) and warp yarns (6), wherein at least one of the weft yarns (4) and the warp yarns (6) contains or consists of lyocell filaments (8). Especially twisted lyocell filament yarns are used, the resulting material has a touch comparable to silk and physical properties that are equal to or even surpass those of silk. Moreover, the lyocell filament yarns (4, 6) may have a higher twist than silk yarns, other cellulose yarns, or synthetic yarns.

Abstract: A method for producing a cellulose solution with a solvent from a cellulose suspension in the solvent and a volatile non-solvent, including the introduction of the suspension into an inlet of a thin-film treatment apparatus, application and distribution of the suspension in a film-like form on a housing casing, temperature-controlled using a heat exchanger, by sweeper elements rotating about a common axis in a process housing of the treatment apparatus, evaporation of volatile non-solvent so that the cellulose is dissolved, and output of the solution of cellulose from the treatment apparatus through an outlet, wherein at least a part of the sweeper elements cause the cellulose to be advanced in the direction of the outlet so that the discharge at the outlet is between 300 kg/h and 600 kg/h cellulose solution per m2 of the temperature-controlled surface of the housing casing.

Abstract: Flame resistant fabrics comprising a blend of modacrylic, aliphatic polyamide, and cellulosic fibers. Some embodiments are printed and/or dyed with vat dyes so as to comply with the color requirements (including the color, colorfastness, and IR requirements) set forth in the relevant sections of GL-PD-07-12 and/or MIL-PRF-EFRCE. Some embodiments further include reinforcing yarns that improve the strength of the fabrics. Still other embodiments are flame resistant fabrics for use in electrical applications that comply with some or all of the requirements of ASTM F 1506.
